JBJB: Easy to use system and the results are clear as day. Fairly inexpensive and just comparing new to old filters definitely see why everyone needs a filter.
That is after 1 year BTW.

John McVicker: We have had this R.O filter installed for about 8 months and started noticing a flavot change to the R.O. water output. Time for a replacement filter set. I ordered two sets to have a spare on hand. The replacement was easy - shut off water feed, shut off output from tank and use the removal tool/wrench to loosen the three filters, one at a time. I would recommend doing this every 6-8 months for better tasting R.O. water.

Lorelle: The professional I used for the installation said it is an excellent choice, easy to install, and the water quality is excellent. A feature I had paid little attention to is one of my favorite things now when I use it. The gooseneck spout swivels so I can turn it to a position over my counter where I can sit a jug or a pot and fill without having to hold the container while it fills! Very pleased as it has been over a year now and the filters still don't need to be changed! BTW, water quality in FL is terrible. Don't hesitate to get one of these!

WilliamWilliam: We were constantly buying water bottles when we moved into this home and needed a fix to that situation. This system is really nice and fits perfectly under our sink. The water tastes amazing and has been a great add on to our home. The filters are easy to install and when it comes time to replace you can see all the junk that it filters out of tap water. Im so glad we got this for our family.

JJK: I have a five-stage unit. Stages one through four installed easily, but stage five, which is on top of the RO unit, had an entirely different configuration than the original. After a lot of online searching, I discovered that stage five had been redisigned in 2012. I received my unit in 2011. I finally had to get a pair of adapters/reducers to make stage five work. All is good now, but APEC should have included a note that explained their redesign in 2012 and what to do if you have an older unit.

Amazon Customer: Once installed the filtration system would not deliver any water, it took me a couple of hours to diagnose the issue and had to disconnect every filter from the system and test it individually to realize the issue was the RO cartridge, if you are the average user / homeowner is it pretty unlikely you would be able to pinpoint the issue by yourself, the cartridge itself looked a bit off as it didn’t have the sticker that the old one had despite coming in what is seems was the right package, the membranes were bone dry after 2 hours of being exposed to water pressure indicating the cartridge did not have flow through. Amazon did great refunding the cost of the purchase, I bought a 75GPD RO cartridge and installed afterwards and solved the issue however I was fearing a similar outcome. At the end everything worked out well.

DaleDale: We moved into a new house that has city water. We ordered this system shortly after and I installed it under the kitchen sink. Installation was very easy. After 8 months of use it was apparent that the filters were getting clogged by the low water flow and then not at all. I replaced the three main filters and will replace the other two when needed. I am expecting the filters to last longer this time due to the fact that I installed a new water softener.

WARNNG: Tanks get extemely heavy. Make sure it is placed on solid wood not fiber board.
Took old system off the wall and placed on floor. Old system was hooked up to a line that feeds both the R/O sink line and the ice maker line (3/8 line) Apec system comes with 1/4 line. Quick check online with Home Depot. They had adapter and line cutter. Picking up the next day.
Meanwhile, put the filters together. Marked the screw placements and installed screws. Placed APEC in place. Turned off water to old system and started draining it.
Next day picked up adapter and cutter. Hooked up the lines and turned the water back on. 1 leak at new adapter. Turned water off again, re-cut the lines and turned water back on. YAY! Success!!
Moving old system into the trash was difficult due to weight.
