Anna Erishkigal: My techie son told me this was the battery we needed to replace the dead UPS battery, so I ordered it, he installed it, and when we had a power outage, it kept the voip phone lines and wifi up and running for the couple of hours the power was out. Don't know how much longer than that it will last ... he said we should umplug the wifi and just keep the phone lines (voip) plugged in if it looks like it will be a multi-day event.

john c stevenson: All replacement batteries might do this, but what I really appreciated was that the battery was shipped in a reusable box that was designed to be used to "properly dispose" of the old battery by sending it back to APC at no charge. The other point is that it was as easy to install as the original battery was to take out. While there were several off-brand replacements available, for the sake of my computers, I'm always going to stick with authentic APC batteries.

La compagnie m'a dit de faire affaire avec amazone pour le retour. Toutefois j'ai tourner en rond sur le site a tenter de trouver comment retourner cette batterie et j'Avais toujours indication que le produit n'étais pas retournable. et ce malgré que la compagnie m'avais spécifier de le retourner a amazone. Je n'ai jamais réussis a obtenir un bon de retour pour amazone

I have fully charged it and tested, works as it should. Will be ordering again when next time comes for replacement.

Ottavio Costantini: After several years of use, my old UPS battery died. I wanted to replace the battery with the UPS' brand name battery, but could not find it locally. Ordered through Amazon, came nicely and protectively packaged. Install was simple and operation is as expected (working as it should.... I tested it stand-alone, enough for finishing up and saving some work on my PC before shutting it down properly, exclusively powered by the battery)… thanks.

AreGee: Battery works as expected but I hope it gives more than a year of service. These batteries generally don't last as long as I'd hope. I have about 10 of these APC units in service and it seems like I'm always replacing batteries. Maybe it's because they're constantly held at full charge and never permitted to run low and recharge. I don't know. I'm just a bit miffed that the tech isn't more user friendly.

This replacement battery did work although I had to mess with the connectors more than anticipated to get the cover back on the compartment. I also noticed that APC's image does not match the image of the actual battery. That's good because the actual battery is smaller, making you wonder if you'll receive the correct battery. APC's own website images are equally faulty and no indication is made in the captions that the image is only representative of the item. I was forced to physically measure the old battery before placing the order to be more certain that I wouldn't have a return (which isn't possible with these batteries anyway because they are hazardous/illegal for consumers to ship.) Fortunately, the battery was correct and fit acceptably without the need for wire...
