The power goes out fairly often out here in the Nevada desert.
This one is on our home entertainment system. The television, disc players, surround sound, and VCR are surge protected. The satellite receiver and external hard drives are battery backed up.

Sabihondo: I have bought three of this particular model over the years, and they are all still working great.

I use them for our Internet gear, computers, and game consoles.

We have occasional power loss due to storms and winter weather, and these always switch over instantly. I like that you can turn off the audible alarm permanently or just mute it for an event. Battery seems to hold up even after a couple years - I get plenty of power so I can take my time properly shutting everything down after a power loss.

Highly recommended. Stellar product.

Brian: Lots of power. I'm running 2 PCs, a Mac Mini, 5 monitors, a NAS, a cable modem, a wifi router, and a network switch, and I still have plenty of power left for other desktop items. Just 2 days after I got it connected my power went out. I had plenty of time to go save whatever work I had open and shut them all down. After hours with just 1 PC and the network running I get over an hour of network WiFi if the power goes out. Great for the phone or laptop.

Palmer: Whenever there’s a power cut I would loose some of the things I work on. My laptop is pretty old but still gets the job done.

To get the battery replaced saw BestBuy fail at it for a couple of years until it was no longer under warranty.

This was the next best thing.

No need to move around as much these days. So spikes, cuts and other power glitches no longer bother me.

JimBob-53: I have used APC UPS of various models for many, many years. They have always performed as expected. I currently have the Back-UPS Pro BR1500MS2 and it works perfectly. I'm writing this review not so much so about the UPS, but more for information on what to expect if using this UPS with a portable generator. I am an IT Senior Systems Engineer working from home for the last year or so due to Covid. I have a very highend computer system thus the reason I am using the BR1500MS2. My system draws around 450-500 watts constantly and this UPS supports it just fine. Ok, now on to my point. I live in Colorado and if you remember we recently had a very bad wind storm which knocked out power to most of us in central Colorado for several days. After the second day of no power and no heat (house was 39 degrees). I was pretty much forced to obtain a portal generator. This generator was a highend 8650 Watts from a reputable company. Generator performed as expected - Frig is working, got coffee, have some heat - all good. BTW we were without utility power for 8 days. Wife is happy again, so now it is time to get the computer system and network back on up and running. ...
