Ronnie Yu: I purchased this for my first 50k and within the first 10k one pole broke and it was unusable. Absolutely disappointing as it was the first time actually using them besides some testing. The connector/cord inside detached from the bottom piece(first of the three connecting cylinders to that connect to create the pole).
I was then left to finish the race without them. Do not rely on these what so ever. Perhaps if you’re going for a short hike for fun but don’t count on them for anything serious. Lesson learned and looks like I’ll need to shell out more for some decent poles. With these, you don’t even get what you pay for.. just a waste of money sadly.

James Mountford: These are amazing poles for the price!! Super lightweight and really fast to setup/put away. I used them on a 100K in the mountains and they stood up to everything I threw at them. Really strong and reliable, forget spending $200 on carbon, these really work!

Merce: Ha sido un regalo de cumpleaños para una persona que hace carreras de montaña. Le han venido muy bien. Me dice que está contento y que le han ayudado mucho en el ultra. Vienen en su funda y con las rosetas típicas de los bastones de esquí, que se pueden quitar. Tiene unos pivotes de goma para guardarlos y no se perfore la funda. Echamos de menos unas breves instrucciones de montaje y recomendaciones de conservación al abrir el paquete, pero rápido sabes cómo manejar y entiendo que en internet te dirán como conservarlos bien. La verdad que hubo muchos corredores con estos mismo bastones.

Amazon Customer: I bought these poles looking for a value pole that I could use for ultra marathons without breaking the bank with carbon…the price and weight were right on and I’ve used them 3 times now on 30-50 mile runs. Very easy to stow and engage and super helpful on the hills.

I had one issue with one of the poles where the small spring loaded tab that keeps the poles locked fell out. I messaged the company a photo and they sent me out a new pole right away!

Rod: I loved these poles!

But I only got to use them twice, then one broke. It broke during a 50k ultra. I was able "fix" them to finish the race, but every time I hit mud, pop! The broken end would come out. Fortunately I run to finish, not for time. A pro would have been much more disappointed.

But, while they worked, they were awesome. Very light, easy to open and collapse. The straps can start to dig into your hands, but I was wearing gloves, 1. For the cold and 2. For the this very reason. Keep in mind I ran for 10hrs. Most straps will do that after that long.

So although they broke, and I had to return them, I will pbe purchasing a new pair later this year, as I have another 50k ultra in December.
