Irving: I bought a 8 pack of these ANSMANN max-e AAA 800mAh batteries to use in a cordless DECT phone. In less than a year four of them no longer hold a charge. That pretty much sums them up. Other brand batteries last longer.

Härris van Doom: ich habe mittlerweile alle meine akkus gegen die von ansmann ausgetauscht. durch die bank langlebige produkte, die halten was sie versprechen, egal ob aa oder aaa, egal ob 800er oder 2850er.
die 800er aaa benutze ich z.b. für die wintermonate in aussenleuchten mit bewegungsmelder, damit ich im dunkeln nicht meinen holzschuppen über den haufen renne. die anderen akkus haben nach nur einem winter den dienst quittiert. die 800er akkus von ansmann hatte ich erstmal probehalber bei niedrigen temperaturen getestet und sie haben sogar noch den ganzen sommer ohne neuladung gehalten. somit habe ich sie für diesen winter gleich nachgeordert. auch in meiner computermaus oder fernbedienungen sind die dinger kaum totzukriegen, halten unglaublich lange.
somit ein klares ja und absolute kaufempfehlung !

Outrun1986: This review is for the 4 pack of AAA sized batteries. These batteries seem to be good and have a capacity that is as advertised. No long term testing has been done on these batteries yet here. These batteries do not come with a plastic case holder. These batteries are made by Ansmann and have a package written in German however the actual batteries say "Made in China" on them. The batteries have black tops. So far these are as advertised so I have no complaints, they have more than the stated capacity of 800mah which is normal. Mine clocked in at 821, 821, 848 and 838 when run through a discharge-refresh cycle on the Lacrosse BC-700 charger. They also did not arrive completely discharged so I know they were not sitting around for years and years before being sent to me (which is bad if you are buying rechargable batteries). This is within specifications so I know the manufacturer is not lying about battery capacity here like so many others do. A pack of 4 AAA alkaline batteries cost five dollars or more at the retail store here so paying just over seven dollars for these was a great deal even if they last 100 cycles. Gaspo: Those batteries either in size AAA or AA are very durable. They last very long and won't discharge even if they are put aside for a long time. I highly recommend both sizes ... I don't understand why those aren't available in Canada.
Ces batteries que ce soit en format AAA ou AA sont très bonnes pour garder leur puissance. Elles ne se déchargeront pas même si vous êtes longtemps sans les utiliser. Hautement recommandé... je ne comprends toujours pas pourquoi ces batteries ne sont pas vendues au Canada.
