Theodor Bajon: Die Batteriebox bringt Ordnung in die Batteriesammlung. Die Batterien sind ordentlich untergebracht und die Box ist sicher verschließbar. Mehrere Boxen könnnen per Steckverbindung zusammengefügt werden.

Hawaii: These battery cases appear better built than most. I like the way they open on the top. But that have 'battery centering' tabs that take up a lot of space, so these cases are about 20% larger than similar cases, which is a big deal when travelling with lots of gear.

Ich nutze in letzter Zeit mehrere Taschenlampen parallel in meinem "EDC" (every day carry, also dem Zeug, das man täglich mit sich herum schleppt). Dazu gehören eine Thrunite Ti (AAA), eine Maratac Copper CR (CR123), eine Nitecore EA11 (AA oder 14500) und eine Nitecore MH20 (18650).

Für die ersten drei Lampen möchte der "Gear-Junkie" natürlich auch immer die passenden Zellen dabei haben. Bei drei unterschiedlichen Größen (AAA, AA und CR123) dedeutet das in der Regel, dass man mindestens zwei, schlechtestenfalls drei verschieden Akkuboxen mit sich führt. Die MH20 lasse ich da außen vor, da sie eine integrierte Ladefunktion über Micro USB hat.

Gesucht wurde also eine Batterie-/Akkubox, die in der Lage ist, alle drei genannten Typen aufzunehmen und dabei halbwegs platzsparend im Rucksack unter zu bringen ist.

Ziemlich schnell landete ich bei der Ansmann Premium 8-fach. Ich war mir sicher, dass ich bei dem Preis nicht viel falsch machen konnte, auch wenn einige Angebote aus Fernost mir 5, 8 oder gar 10 kleinere Akkuboxen zum gleichen Preis versprachen...

Als sie ankam, wunderte ich mich zunächst über den recht...

John: These are great for storing & carrying batteries.

I have had 4 for 10+ years. I found the need for more storage so I got some more. Part of what I like is that they fasten together, so I was pleasantly surprised when these new boxes mated with my old ones. It is very nice to decide how many batteries I want to carry & fasten the right number of boxes together & have a neat pack of batteries.

They also make it easy to tell which are charged & which are depleted (which way you put the battery in the holder).

I. Giles: This is a very simple idea allowing for battery storage and/or 'compact' sized memory card storage. As such it makes for a very attractive purchase option, not only for photographers especially, but also for anyone with loose AA sized batteries.

The boxes have compartments for 8 AA batteries, any pair of which can be used for a 'compact' sized memory card instead. The batteries can up upturned to indicate used and upright to indicate re-charged as appropriate.

The boxes will also clip together allowing for mass storage without taking up large amounts of space. Photographers who use large numbers of batteries for professional use will find this extension to the storage idea a particular benefit.

The boxes are a simple idea but are made in sufficiently durable plastic to adequately sustain reasonable wear and tear. Kept in a drawer they should last indefinitely.

This therefore is a reasonably priced, convenient and practical answer to the storage of AA battery and 'compact' memory cards
