Chris V.: This is not an audiophile piece of equipment, but it is a decent sounding piece of kit. This is my second one. My first one died after a couple of years, so I went with the cheaper Anker Roav SmartCharge F0. Do yourself the favor and spend the extra buck or two to get the Anker Roav SmartCharge T1 IF low profile is NOT a must have feature for you.
Pro's:
- Wide FM bandwith so you can get to some of the radio stations at the "ends of the dial" where there's clearer reception possibilities with less interference. (Much wider than the Anker Roav SmartCharge F0)
- Easy to use, setup, bluetooth and also hook USB cables to to charge your phone, etc.
- Good sound quality - not audiophile grade, but pleasant enough in a rolling vehicle where road noise makes audiophile quality a little absurd anyways.
Con's:
- It's a little bulky. For me, not a big concern.
- like I mentioned, this is my second one. I had to replace my first one after a few years. Not sure what happened to my first one, but it's "D.E.D" dead.
- this thing is tight in my cigarette lighter making putting it in and pulling it back out a little difficult. I think that may be what killed the first one,...

Ethan: This product takes all of 30 seconds to pair to a phone and gives quality that is comparable to even any non FM signal high quality wireless speaker (if your sound system was designed to be pleasing in the first place). Of course it doesn't sound like studio monitors but for 26 dollars (i was irritated because the price dropped to 19.98 the very next day when i got the package shipping confirmation) it is an amazing value. I can confirm that it will work with any cigarette lighter port or standard 12v port as i use the first of the two options in my BMW Z4. One potential issue that doesn't effect me but may trouble people with a car in the last 6 months of their battery life is that the device will continue to draw power even when the car is turned off, but holding the play button for three seconds can shut the device off. My local area personally has the 107.5 radio channel vacant and i didn't have to adjust that so i can't give information on how to switch that but the manual is included for a reason. Id recommend this one as it blends into most dashboards and looks premium over other eccentrically designed transmitters. Anyone who wants pictures to make their decision let me...

Edit 28.06: Telefonieren ebenfalls ganz ok.

Ned: Hands free calling and being able to listen to your own music collection is such a massive addition to an ageing car.

Setup is simple and easy enough, only complaint is the fact it automatically connects to the last connected phone with no way of switching the device; solution is to either unplug it and quickly connect on phone or disconnect the other phone first

Other than that it’s a great little trick to make long drives 10x more enjoyable

Zrnie: Updated review on Nov 11th 2019
--------------------------------------------

Give thanks this Thanksgiving because Anker has generously offered to help fix my problem. Now 30 days later I have yet to have a issue. I wanted to wait until another 30 days at least before removing my 1 star review and updating it. So far so good, the only problem I've had was when I get closer to the city. Each time either I'm clashing with another person (I assume) using a similar device or something is blocking/interfering with my Bluetooth connection. Seems to only happen when I visit the city. Which luckily I don't very often in my vehicle. Other than that I'm good. I do wish when you close Bluetooth on your phone so someone else can connect that it just goes back to automatically connecting. However each time someone else uses it I have to manually enter the device on the Bluetooth list of devices. Not earth shattering but meh it's annoying. But special kudos to Anker support for helping. The only ding with them would be the fact that they kept hounding me to redo my one star review. I specifically told them I wanted to wait. They said they understood but kept emailing me every so often...

Chukz: UPDATE!

I've had a positive change of mind about the product since my previous review (for transparency purposes, i left my previous review below). Anker (via its customer service) was kind enough to send me a replacement after my first review, and having had sometime to test out the new one, i have come to the conclusion that most of the issues i raised about the product in my former review was peculier to the specific product i recieved then. The replacement does not have the issues the previous one had, aside from the fact that i still get a little "shhh" interruption when i turn the volume up. I've explained this to the Customer service officer and she suggested i look for other white noise stations (regrettably, this hasn't made any difference for me yet).

I was informed by the customer service that the Roav smart charger app does not work with this brand which explains why i had the issues with it recognising the previous one. All the same, i'm please with the replacement, and thankful for how promptly and proffessionally Anker Customer service dealt with the issue.

PREVIOUS FEEDBACK.

I really had high expectations for this FM transmitter,...

Philip M Coakes: The Anker Roav SmartCharge T1 took only two minutes to set up; In use, it's superbly straightforward; if Bluetooth is switched on and the media app is active on the phone, it's ready for use within 2 seconds of switching the car ignition on. Simply press the play button on the Roav, to carry on from where you left off. Sound quality through our factory fitted FM radio (Lexus) is great, bearing in mind that I rip all my CD's at 320 Kbps, so I'm using a decent sounding source file. Stereo separation is fine, and dynamics are handled well enough for car use.

Austin Abrams: I used to be a lifelong admirer of the GoGoGroove Flexsmart X2.
I still am, but the Roav SmartCharge T1 just won in a song battle on FM 89.7... while coming in at only half the cost ($18 vs. $30 when I bought them both) and offering high-speed USB charging.

The experiment:
I put the Roav T1 in my '04 Acura TSX and the Flexsmart X2 in a '11 Subaru WRX, spaced roughly 10 ft apart.
I tuned both FM transmitters to 89.7, and made sure the Flexsmart X2 had its internal volume/power turned to 30 (max). Roav T1 only gives ability to adjust volume from the source device.
Next, I played Avicii on Roav T1 (full volume on phone), and Vampire Weekend from the Flexsmart X2 (full volume on computer).

Conclusion:
Starting in the Avicii / Roav T1 car, the audio was full-powered, heavy bass, no static background whatsoever.
Moving to the Vampire Weekend / Flexsmart X2 car, the audio was very good quality for the most part. I was honestly impressed that in both cars you could hear each song surprisingly clearly.
However, very faintly, you could notice some static noise in the Vampire Weekend / Flexsmart X2 car.

I then tried turning the source volume all the...
