Andy: Looks great and is holding up well. However, some of the edges were damaged because the shipping packaging did not protect the product as good as it should have. I made do because I didn’t want to go through the return hassle.

Gadjo Dilo: Overall, I really like this mat. I bought it originally in 2014 to protect the hardwood floor in my rental home, which was getting damaged from the caster wheels of my office chair. Being chemically sensitive, I didn't want a plastic mat with terrible, unpleasant off-gassing that is hazardous to one's health. This was a much more expensive alternative, but I found it functional and very attractive, and it did not activate my chemical sensitivities. It has also proven very durable. Several years later (with an interim period of a couple of years of the mat rolled up in storage, it is still working pretty well. It has some dents from years of use with caster wheels, but overall, the surface still looks very good. I'm finding that the function isn't as good on the carpeted floor of my new home, though. This may also be a result of much heavier foot (and paw) traffic in its new location. It slides out of place and regularly needs readjustment. Some of the slats toward the edge that rides up are getting pushed out of place upward to create a surface that is not flat anymore. I have tried a fix of placing a large binder clip at the edge, the one of gluing the slats back down with wood...

KevKev: I saw this roll-up chair mat at a nearby Staples and I was so upset they sell it in a tan colour but not this dark cherry colour, so I found it on Amazon. It's more expensive on Amazon by ~$14 than at the Staple store though, I think maybe matching the price would be a little more appropriate. (Regular plastic mats at this size should be cheaper at around $45)

To start, the package came on time and was secure in a long, tube like packaged box and wrapped inside with a bag over it. Upon opening it, I can very well tell how nice the quality of the material is, thick, strong, had a nice smell of fresh wood and slight rubber, and overall looked beautiful. Yes, it works perfectly fine on thick carpet but it would be more ideal for a thin type of carpet. Just by how it's designed on the bottom, it seems like it's perfectly fine to use on hard wood too with the cloth and rubber circles on the bottom of the mat.

My overall review is positive with fast shipping, quality material, beautiful colour, and universal use on carpet or hardwood floors. One of the cons I experienced was the package being a little water damaged and that there was a bump scratched into the mat before I...
