ppc user: I bought this to replace a Sharp air conditioner exhaust tube (PDUC-A011JBFA) that started cracking all over on one end. This part was describes as 5.1" and it is, but the sharp part is slightly bigger than that. But it's nothing that wrapping each end with painters tape or something else won't resolve. You just need something to fill the slight gap. It fits the window end piece pretty well. Nothing that tape can't fix and if you have an exhaust tube insulation cover for airconditioner tubes (and i suggest you get one for other reasons like keeping the heat from radiating out of the tube) then there are no problems. So 20 bucks for the tube instead of 80-125 for the Sharp part? YES PLEASE!

Anthony LewisAnthony Lewis: I wanted a longer hose for my DeLonghi because the original wasn't quite long enough to reach my bedroom sliding window. This 5.1" hose fit perfectly and gives me more options for A/C placement. The thickness of this hose is slightly thinner than the original, but I cover the hose with an insulated cover so that doesn't make a difference in heat dissipation into the room. I would buy this again if needed.
