judi mclaren: Before I give my review, I feel it only fair to delve into my own specific background. I am a 54 year old woman who suffers from alopecia symptoms caused by Thyroid and hormonal issues. Irina: So I've used an entire bottle and bought a second one. I think it sort of helps - though my hair did not stop failing out. It keeps hair clean for longer. When I take a shower, hair don't fall out that much (but the process did not stop, they still fall massively when brushing and applying masks). So I don't know, I guess it's worth trying. I'm also using hair masks (amplixin and also keratin) and take biotin and iron vitamins. These things take like half a year to show results and it's really hard to say what exactly worked.
I have oily hair (wash them every morning), so for someone with less oily or dry hair - it's probably a good idea to use masks or scalp sprey after).

LJ TangerineLJ Tangerine: This shampoo had a lot of what I was looking for. Its cruelty and Paraben free and designed to work as a hair thickener. Surprised to say that after just one use. . my very fine and thinning hair really did seem thicker, even after just one washing. I guess you get what you pay for when it comes to shampoo. Another thing I noticed is that I didn't have to wash my hair as often. . it stayed cleaner longer and bounced well. It said to use a "liberal amount" but even though my hair is super long. .a little of this stuff actually goes a long way. My thin hair usually bends with barrettes in it but this thickening shampoo helped keep it more straight and luxurious. I could wear it up, and take it down, and when it was down it didn't look like it have been up with all the bent hair. . .another good feature. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the smell. I would say it has a somewhat medicine smell. It reminds me of a dandruff shampoo type smell. If you are a man. . .this shampoo won't make you smell feminine. . . and that could be a GOOD feature but as a female. . .I would have preferred no scent at all or a milder smell. I found it to be a really strong scent compared to my usual...
