Kathy fortney: Noticed as soon as I took it out of the package that it felt heavier. I'm hoping that means it will last longer than original. It doesn't sit down as low into the drip bowls so my burner covers don't rest on the stove top. It was a tight fit to get it into the drip bowl, but it did go. It also doesn't heat up as fast as the original, but it did get there. Overall I am happy with it. I'm glad to have use of all 4 burners again. Don't be surprised with a tiny bit of smoke as the oils burn off with the initial turning on of the burner.
