It was easy to install.
As soon as someone approches towards my house, or EVEN if an animal goes by, it lights up immediately, and it is VERY bright!
This is my second one that I have bought in 6 months, and I intend to buy a third one next spring to be installed in my backyard..
The solar panel works even on cloudy, raining and snowing days as well.
In summer season, once a while I may clean the solar panels from their dust and dirt that may have been accumulated on.
Very satisfied with my purchase.

Kevin M.: I had bought this brand 3 yrs ago, they still work! 24/7/365 Outdoors in the elements of summer (100f / 38c) and winters (-5f / -20c). I bought another brand and returned them recently, and went back to these...I now own 8. I light up a sidewalk beside the house as dog owners weren't picking up after their dogs - spot light on, problem has been solved. Yep, just buy them you wont be disappointed...

Marc Gothisson: Having seen some similar products in the hardware store, these were a bit smaller than I'd visualized. However, once I'd set them up and night arrived, they were also brighter than I'd expected. Even set at about 12' off the ground, the motion sensor was sensitive enough to detect our dog moving past and lit up just fine. The duration of light after detecting movement is about 30 seconds, as it says on its box. One nice feature is the slip-on mounting bracket which allowed for some imaginative applications to enhance my driveway lighting. A feature they do NOT have is the ability to fully rotate the solar panel.
They don't get full sun all day, so we'll see if partial shade still allows a complete charge to remain functional at night. Also, they are completely exposed - not sheltered under some roof eave - so that may factor in as well. I'll post an update later, but for now, I'm pleased with this $30 purchase.

Lynn: They work well but don't work as well for what I want them for. I wanted them to point at the grass in the backyard for when my dog went out but they don't turn on cuz my dog is only 5 lb and very short so it turns on after she's done but it works I go out there.
