KreyonKreyon: I don't know what we would have done without this! It's bloody brilliant. Our 2 kittens sleep in it overnight and when we can't be around to supervise them and it's big enough to fit a bed, food and water bowls, litter tray and a small scratch post. It's sturdy and easy to put up and down as well. We went on holiday the week after getting them and this was a life saver!

Donna martin: This dog playpen is larger than I thought it would be. We’ve only used it once so far. My 5month old puppy likes her crate. It very durable and seems well built. My pup is a cavapoo and she is able to stand up in this playpen and has room to stretch out.

Joyce: We have gators that hang out in our lake sometimes so no roaming outside for our two cats! When we are hanging around our back yard, I pull this out and set up for the cats so they can "join" us. They absolutely love it. Sometimes our jealous small dog will join them, its so funny. I used treats to introduce them to it initially.

Rachel Wyant: I bought this for chick brooding (raising baby chicks). I had initial bought the smaller size but as my amount of chicks I had increased, I need to increase the size of their pen. After my chicks move to a new pen, I get all the bedding out and wash this in my bathtub with soap and bleach and then allow it to air dry until next time. Excellent product!!!

Honest review: If you have a really small pets under 10lbs this will be perfect but if your pet is taller than 12 inches this might not be the most comfortable pen to keep them in. The play pen is too short and my 10lb chihuahua head scraps against the top of the fabric but the quality of the material is great. Wish it was taller because I really did like it. What a bummer

JenniferJennifer: I love this. I ordered the Portable Travel Playpen by AmazonBasics for multiple litters of kittens, that my girls had, last year. The primary litter was approaching one month old, and the secondary litter was about a week old.

Kittens don't do much within the first month after birth. Their eyes open in 7-10 days after birth. They crawl on their bellies for about the first two to two and a half weeks. From three to four weeks of age, their mobility improves but generally they have basic and limited motor skills. It is in the second month of age that they become more agile, and can run, jump, climb, and pounce. (Although if there are older cats in the house, the litter can be more developmentally advanced. I had one litter of kittens that were jumping, climbing, running, and pouncing, at one month of age.) The kittens in the primary litter were fast-approaching that rambunctious stage that cute baby cats are famous for.
