zaza: Okay toasted with butter, PB etc., but straight, it is pretty thick and chewy for a sandwich....not my first choice, won't buy again...I'll go for 365 Sandwich, or Dave's any variety

Janet Wolfe: This is my favorite brand bread, and virtually the only reason I shop at Whole Foods. I actually prefer the multigrain, but this is fine. So much better tasting than other brands! Wish it was available more places.

James W McCrory: Great bread for diabetics. Good protein and low carbs for bread. I put almond butter and toast it. Put a few banana slices and it’s great.

B.M. Olivares: I've tried different varieties of sprouted grain breads and Alvarado is by far my favorite. I usually purchase multiple loaves of the multigrain bread and freeze the additional ones. I've also tried Flaxseed, California Style, Whole Wheat & they all are equally delicious and work with both sweet and savory. Some grain breads are hard and dense with thick slices making it difficult to use for sandwiches and such but Alvarado's breads have great flavor and texture perfect for any of your favorite foods!
