Roadhog: This is a great 1 DAY pack, it is fairly well made, and has a nice thick waterproof lining. Great day pack for the price. Little ingenuity you could carry a Gun or Bow on a day hunt, has nice loops on the outside back of pack.

AmazonShopperAmazonShopper: Perfect size for day trips! It's about the same size as a college student's JanSport backpack. Not too big, not too heavy. And not too small, either. It's just right! Held winter gloves & mask, earmuffs, several water bottles, a large bag of beef jerkey, an extra shirt, pocket poncho, cell phone battery bank & cord, small first aid kit, and a few other items, all of which didn’t even fill the bag half way. There was still more than plenty of room to spare! The bag feels, and looks, great, too! And appears well made. It's perfect for our needs, and I think it will hold up nicely. Would definitely buy again (at $22.60).
UPDATE: On 1/12/21, I purchased this item for $27.76. And when I saw the price decreased, I purchased this item a 2nd time on 5/17/21, for $22.60. Since purchasing this item, I've seen the price fluctuate greatly, even jumping up to almost $50 (more than double what I paid less than 6 months ago). I've noticed often item prices increase when good reviews are left. And I'd like to update my review to say, at the price I paid, I recommend(ed) the bag. However, at almost double the price, like it is now ($49.99 on 11/30/21), I would have to pass on this...

samsam: Exactly as advertised, very soft quiet fabric, a layer of waterproof on the inside, perfect day bag for hunting. Only gave 4 stars for durability because there were loose threads by the zipper otherwise a great bag. Boyfriend was very happy with it.

Joan: We filled the back pack with other gifts for our son's birthday. My husband found it very comfortable when he carried it for about 1/2 mile. We were pleasantly surprised that it is made of good quality material, especially for the price. Our son was very pleased with the gift.

Lou: I love this backpack! It is the perfect size for what I wanted it for. I'm planning to use it for everyday use (toting books and personal belongings), along with day hiking. It makes the perfect size for school. (You might not be able to fit more than one binder, but you could get a binder, a few composition books & folders, and another book in it.) The front zipper pocket has a great place for pens and pencils. ~ I'm not a hunter, but I imagine this pack would be too small for a lot of necessities, but I think it would be fine for a day pack or short distances. ~ It didn't have as many organization pockets as I thought , but for my use, it works fine. Also, there are not water bottle (or accessory) mesh holders on the sides. ~ I love the way it feels, making it comfortable to carry. It is soft , sturdy & brushed material. I'm not sure how it would hold up in the rain or muddy camping trips. It seems despite the soft material , that it would hold up ok. ~ I am pleased with my purchase of this backpack. :)

Russ H.: I purchased 2 of these bags so that they could take up permanent residence in the back of my 2 vehicles. I wanted something that wasn't too big or bulky so that it wouldn't take up too much space or look really gaudy in the trunk/back of an SUV.
These bags in my opinion are a near perfect balance of size and features. I do wish it had a few more pockets. I'm a little bit OCD and wanted to "compartmentalize" the contents a little more but it's not that big of a deal.
The bag is very sturdy with a good zipper. I also like the fact that I can clip extra stuff onto the daisy chain straps on the front of the pack. While this bag isn't huge, it can hold a LOT more than you think it can. Here are the contents of each bag:
1 x Emergency Thermal Blanket 52" x 84" (4 Pack)
1 x Motor Trend MT1012-CCA 12-Foot Copper Clad Aluminum Jumper Cables, 250 (I've already had to use these once! They work great)
1 x Potable Aqua Water Treatment Tablets
1 x Emergency Fire Starter
1 x Lifeline 85 Piece First Aid Kit (Red)
1 x Datrex 3600 Calorie Emergency Food Bar for Survival Kits, Disaster Preparedness, Survival Gear,...

Scott W: Lets rate this bag for what it is. It's a small backpack. It's camo. It's cheap. If you're looking for anything other than a small pack to carry small items look for something else. I take this little backpack out every day I go bow hunting. It has more than enough room to carry all my necessities. A few calls, scents, scent eliminator, knife, drag, paracord, gloves, hat, flashlight, binoculars, folding saw, zip ties... You know, the basics. And, there's plenty of room for all that and more. I read some reviews saying that the zippers are loud. They're definitely not silent, but not overly loud either. And, if being quiet is the goal, why are you digging through your pack anyway. I take out the stuff I'm going to need when I first get in the stand then tuck the bag under my seat. Of course if you needed to access something inside you could just leave it partially unzipped while it was under your seat or hanging on a hook, unless it's raining, but rain is definitely louder than the zippers anyway so that shouldn't matter.
If you're looking for a small pack to carry your necessary equipment out to your stand, this is great. Nice, small, and inexpensive. A great combo
