Beautiful briefcase however it only lasts one year. Something always happens. Today when I went to unlock it the ckasp just snapped off as if it wasnot soldered on properly. Keep your warranty in a safe place because i guarantee you will need it.

Not to get carried away, but ever since we bought this briefcase I have been marveling about the mere fact of its availability and how spoiled we are in the modern international economy. It is, far and away, the best briefcase I have ever owned. It is sturdy, well-made, roomy, attractive, and of good materials. I've been carrying briefcases for decades, I'm quite particular about what I like, and in the past the best ones I've owned have cost a few hundred dollars. This is better than any of them, by every measure, and yet I got it for $60.
This in turn has led me to reflect on how miraculous it is that I could order, acquire and own such thing without leaving my house -- amazon itself is a pretty amazing development compared to the purchasing methods of my youth -- and then there is the fact of instant access to the lowest-possible price for the highest-quality material. Not everything is perfect in our modern economic world, but sometimes we forget what a consumer's paradise we live in.

I gave this case a 5 star rating. I did my research before purchasing this case for my husband. He had a used case that had been given to him by my dad and when the handle finally broke on it, he wanted to keep it and carry it under his arm (really????)! In our search for the right case at the right price, we looked at many of them as well as read many, many reviews before deciding on the "perfect" brief case for him. We were so happy when this case arrived and we opened it up! This is a solidly built item and is sturdy in every way, from the beautiful exterior to the ample storage inside. The hubby carries it to work every day and I'm thrilled with finding an excellent quality item he loves at a great price.
