CamrunsCamruns: I love these hiking poles! I ordered them 2 years ago and am finally writing a review. I use them on all types of trails and they are wonderful. I use the monster tips as they work best on the trail. They come with a variety of tips and the insert shows you what each tip does. See image. They collapse to fit in a nice carry bag if you need it. Some reviewers mentioned them collapsing. If you make sure you don't tighten the screw too tight or too lose - once you get it just right so the tension is good to lock them they should stay in place. I think some try to screw it too tight. I like the height markers that help you adjust them but some of mine have worn out due to 2 years of use but I just keep them set now. They also have wrist straps that are sturdy. I have ordered sets for 3 of my relatives and they all love them! One set came without all of the tips but I have contacted the company and hope to hear back soon. The rest are fine!

DuctapeDuctape: The media could not be loaded.  I've got plenty of miles on these now and figured it was time for a review. These trekking poles have hauled me all over the White Mountain National Forest and back. I love hiking with these so much I can't go hiking without them anymore. My wife and son have also used them and they also love them.

I'm going to say right up front that at the time I purchased these, the price for a pair was under $30..... so my review is based on these poles at around that price. I have watched the price go up and down, like so many other items here on Amazon. Personally, I wouldn't recommend any aluminum trekking pole if the price were way above 30ish dollars. So, lets go over a few pros and cons......

Pro:

Pros::. Very light weight! They look great! Came with multiple feet to tackle different types of terrains! The cork handle feels great, the first time I used them I felt a little warmth from them but since then it's been fine and always felt good and cool. The straps are high quality and nice and thick. I've never had these sticks collaps on me, not once. You do have to be careful when tightening plastic and metal pieces down because one tightening to far and you'll strip the plastic piece, so simply be careful! Always remember your sticks should be adjusted with your elbow against your side, hold hand straight so your arm is in a 90' angle. Adjust the sticks equally to this height and you'll experience maximum performance out of these sticks!
Even my daughter was able to use these sticks correctly with them fully collapsed, so that's awesome!

Cons::. Wish I had a second pair! Possibly a pair that came in women's color sets so the wife could have a fancy set like this one!

Amazon Customer: I USUALLY SKIP THE REVIEWS BUT THESE WORK!!! I have been hiking for only two years so I am pretty new to hiking. This summer I noticed that my fingers would swell during my hikes. They would swell so much that my wedding ring would feel like it was cutting my finger. All of my fingers were swollen but my ring finger was so swollen that I could not remove my wedding ring. I spoke with a Mountaineer about my fingers swelling and he advised that I use hiking poles. Granted I was reluctant to buy them(prideful) but I did and that was the best decision I made. On the latest hike I had the hiking poles in my bag until my finger started to hurt. I removed my ring adjusted the poles to the correct height and continued hiking. Within about ten minutes my hands felt brand new all the pain in my fingers were gone. That really surprised me. Now about the poles the strap they are good for safety feature but the loosen as you walk so I had to continuously tightening them. The cork handles were comfortable and absorbed all of the sweat from my hands. the premarked height adjustment were nice to have and easy to adjust.
