Diana: I Love how easy it is to use! My cats didn’t like it sprinkled on their dry food, so I mix it in water or a water/salt free chicken broth liquid and add it to their wet food. This makes it into a soup that they love!!

Victoria B: I have been an LVT for over 20 years and I know quite a bit about immune support. My cat has a compromised immune system that seems to flare up infections in his mouth and right ear. Lysine use to help him when he was younger. He would only have flare ups about 3 times a year. Steroid injections work very well, but I have always looked to immune system support supplements and food to boost his immune system and lengthen the time between steroid injections, since steroids have such negative affect over time on the liver and kidneys. He is now 10 years old and on monthly steroid injections since he had most of his teeth extracted last year. He is a very picky eater and would not eat any of the Lysine treats I tried, well one, but they stopped making it 2 years ago (figures)! This product is great, just as described. Odorless, tasteless(I think, since he never refused his food), and it completely dissolves quickly in moist food! The full scoop size is not even 1/2 t! If your cat responds well to Lysine support or if you are thinking of trying it, I would absolutely recommend this!

Steph @ Xpressions: First, I would like to refute a couple of complaints in reviews I saw about this product.

(1) Someone said there was no seal on the container, and they were worried about safety/quality. In my experience with this product, there *is* a seal, but it comes off inside the lid when you open it the first time. If it is missing that inner seal when you open it, sure, be concerned, but don't expect some kind of peel-off seal. It's not human- or food-grade material, so the requirements are a little less for these guys. Still, they *do* have a seal. It just twists off on your first opening of the container.

(2) Someone complained that there was no measuring scoop. I can't speak for their container, but, again, in my experience, there *is* a scoop. The scoop, however, is translucent! It "hides" in the fine white powder, and mine was buried enough that I had to use up some of the powder before I found it! But it was in there!! Poke around a little, and you'll probably find a scoop!

Kara R.: Hands down the BEST L-Lysine product I have ever used!! It seriously helps to keep my cat's feline herpes at bay as well as their moderate stomatitis.

The only slight con about this product is that you must mix it into the wet food right away or it'll harden and become a bit difficult to blend into the food. But really not a huge deal at all.

*Unfortunately, one time I needed to buy more and the price had more than doubled since the last time I purchased it. I chose a different brand which I wasn't thrilled about. Even so, if the price should ever go up that much again I wouldn't buy it.

At the current price it's a better value than all the others I have used.

Definitely recommend this to boost your pet's immunity! Don't forget the human formulation is also great for people for the same reasons and during cold/flu season.
