Es handelt sich um einen stabilen, u-förmigen Träger mit sechs Spanngurten (jeweils 2 oben, unten, seitlich).
Mit ein wenig Eingrooven ist das Teil schnell an- und abmontiert. Die Fahrräder sind noch schneller drauf und runter. Vielleicht noch einen Satz Spanngurte dazu bestellen, um Räder und Pedale gut zu besfestigen.
Bei mir gab es unterschiedliche Windgeräusche je nachdem, wie die Spanngurte fixiert sind - ich denke, das sind Erfahrungswerte, diese Geräusche zu minimierten.
Bislang ca. 1.300 km (inkl. Autobahn) mit dem Träger problemlos gefahren - insgesamt eine Empfehlung!

MM: I use this occasionally on an relatively old low value vehicle. It works great and can carry several bikes. I have not had a problem with it scratching the surface of my car, but I always am very careful installing it. It has metal pieces that hook onto your car trunk. If you dropped them onto the car or slid them across the surface you could mar the finish. I would be hesitant to put it on a really nice car.

Davide M: Utile se si fanno veramente pochi km. Difficile da montare, di manifattura molto leggera. Io avevo preso quello per 3 bici ma sinceramente anche se fosse stato di solido montaggio non ci avrei mai messo sopra tre biciclette… rovina la macchina con le sue “plastiche” Restituito!

Lucy Lockley: Brought this bike rack as was cheaper to take our own bikes to centre parcs than hire them. It's for 3 bikes but we only used it for two. felt really sturdy on the car and kept all the bikes in place, we checked it regularly on our journey and it didn't budge! Just have to be mindful that the bikes protrude over the sides of the car so you're a wider load.

TangibleReads: This Allen bike rack is pretty big and sturdy. Hooked in on back of a Audi SUV with no problems. I like there is a listing of vehicles it fits on the back (shipping label does cover some of it); however, I looked on the Allen website before ordering to make sure i as not wasting my time. Definitely recommend you do that. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. Only issue we had were straps were long, so i did some tying between bike tires which also kept them from rotating. Problem solved. Now I have never used a bike rack before so this was a first and I was paranoid every time I heard a noise or rattle on the bumpy city streets to our destination. We had no bike loss, nothing came off and no vehicle damage. I am comfortable now. This is a 3 placement bike rack and we only had 2 adult bikes. We placed them on the 2 spaces further away from the vehicle. I would be concerned about putting an adult bike on the slot closest to the vehicle because of scrapes from the pedal. It is really close. Guess we will cross that road when we get there. Thus far happy with this rack. Very sturdy and allows me to take my bike away from the house.

Lucas Stormsen: The first installation is easily the most frustrating part. When I first opened the box. I was very nervous that I was going to need a Boy Scout to help me attach it to my car. I settled for my roommate. It looks complicated when you first attempt to figure where every one of the flopping tentacle-like straps go. Then you press the rack's padded bars against your car and strap the hooks onto your trunk or hatchback.
The product description brags about how initial assembly shouldn't take more than a few seconds, which isn't especially flattering to my skills. The first assembly is easily the most frustrating part. Took me about five minutes to discover exactly what goes where and how. Only about a minute of that time was spent crying and ruing existence.
The second time you put it on takes about thirty seconds. Your straps are already at about the right length and your muscle memory will compensate for your general inability to attach things.
Putting bicycles on there is pretty easy. Lift them up and into the little cradles. Then those are a simple strap on each side and it holds it secure. Repeat these steps for however many bicycles you plan to attach...

Mike Powers: I recently bought bicycles for myself, my wife, and our oldest granddaughter. We all love to ride; trouble is, there really aren't any safe roads in the area where we live that we can take our bikes. However, there is an excellent bicycle/walking path a only few miles from my house.

I purchased my Allen Sports Deluxe 3-Bike rack so that we can transport ourselves and our bikes to the start of the bike path. This bike rack really is excellent. It's solidly constructed, fits perfectly on my 2011 Hyundai Elantra, and, once installed, holds our three bikes firmly in place.

Setting up my new bike rack was very easy. I unfolded it, put the braces in place, strapped it down at the recommended attachment points on my car's trunk, and installed the bikes. The whole process took me about fifteen minutes.

The Allen bike rack's best feature is its portability. Because it's designed to attach to my car with heavy-duty straps that hook into place, I can remove and reinstall it whenever I wish. With very minimal care, the rack does not cause any scratches or other damage to my car.
