Masters-LifestylesMasters-Lifestyles: THANKS FOR A GREAT PRODUCT

Lorette George: First time I used this. Not sure how durable it is yet one thing I have to say is be careful with your pattern. You can't stick it on and try to re-position it.

D: It stuck easily but it not very flexible. It did repair a tear in a coat sleeve.

penny pinching mom: Works well for girls scout patches but it’s small so package doesn’t last long.

C.C.N.: Works great for patches big and small when they are not the iron-on kind!

John R.: Had a thin protective bag tear on one side. Regular sewing was not an option as then material was so thin it would only tear again no matter how small a needle was used. This item worked perfectly with a very strong hold. I couldn't vouch for it for use on standard material and my sense is that it would not be a permanent solution for material that would be laundered but it will hold as a temporary fix, at a minimum. On thin material like I used it on, it is a permanent fix.

Mommy8ear: Needed to sew badges for my daughter's Girl Guides sash. Would have taken me a long time to do everything, but with these it didn't take me long - my daughter was actually able to do herself too.

ESWESW: I'm really happy with how my t-shirt turned out - I bought an EV1 by Ellen shirt online, and it had that pretty design on front, but the fabric was very thin and drapey, so I wanted to cut it out and attach it to a cotton shirt instead.

I think these peel and stick sheets are meant more for stuff like patches, so I wound up needing 6 to attach this cut-out t-shirt design to the new cotton shirt, but still thankfully wound up managing to get it to work. Something else to watch out for is that they're super sticky, so they're not super forgiving, and it's hard to wrinkles out if the fabric doesn't get placed just right in the first place. Thankfully what wrinkles there are on my shirt are hard to see because the fabric is dark.

The glue itself isn't thick like paper, so the logo has bend and isn't heavy. But it is a bit more stiff than the fabric is on it's own. I haven't washed the shirt yet, but with how strong the glue is, I'd be shocked if the fabric started to separate. Will report back if that happens, but so far so good.

peanutmom2001: I have only used this product for one thing - placing badges on an American Heritage Girls vest. I can't say enough good things about the functionality of this product for this purpose! I had first used Badge Magic because that is what came with the vest and badge kit that I ordered from AHG. Badge Magic was nice in that was easy to use and came in the shape of the badges I was applying, but within a month of use, the patches that had corners (almost all of them) began to peel away from the vest. After reading great reviews on Aleene's Fabric Fusion, I decided to give it a try - just in time for the upcoming badge ceremony! I tried several different methods of getting the adhesive from the sheet onto the badges - placing the badges on an open sheet and then trimming with scissors, tracing the badge shape on a covered sheet and then trimming and then applying to the badge, and, finally, just sticking the badges on in a row and then peeling them off and picking off excess adhesive (fastest, but not totally the prettiest method). Each method worked and the badges are solidly in place - even after several washes! I have put the vest in the washing machine and hung to dry (ideal), but...

Charlie: I can't believe I paid more than £5 for these rather small and weakly adhesive sheets.
I followed the instructions given, and tested a smallish piece of one sheet on a smallish piece of fabric. It doesn't say whether you have to wait any time for the glue to make an effective bond, but I left it about 1 hour to be safe. After that time I gave the fabric pieces a fairly light pull and they came apart relatively easily. I was SHOCKED! (I have previously tried the same thing with a cheap tape meant for paper... and got a better result) I pressed the pieces back together and they stuck WEAKLY once more.
Ah! I thought... but THIS adhesive is supposed to be "WASH PROOF" (and that's really why I bought it - at so much greater cost) so I just held the two lightly stuck pieces under the cold tap to simulate a cool wash (kinda) and they almost fell apart! (the adhesive is almost completely useless!
I let the two pieces dry out for a few hours and the weak adhesion returned... but this is just NOT ENOUGH to do what is expected of it.
(anything washed with it attached is likely to shift position and end up lightly stuck in another position)
For the record: I did not use it...
