Ophelia H.: I bought this book for my three-year-old sister and the two year old son. They both love this book so much. My sister is interested in the monkey wearing rings my son is interested in learning the letters that he’s seeing. My son Easily rip pages however, I like how sturdy this book is and he’s not able to damage it when he is being a bit rough. I plan to order more books like this. I would definitely recommend this book to parents who are scared of their kids destroying the books they should be reading. Perfect size for kids too.

Swati J.: The content of the book is very cute. But the hard cover book has very bad quality pages. Toddlers can easily rip them off.

Oak Ridge Badger: I read this book to our daughters as children (they're now 33 and 30, each with a daughter of their own)! They loved the funny monkeys and the rhythmic reading! We all loved this book and I wanted to read it to my Granddaughters. HOWEVER, for anyone looking for the "old" book and story, please be aware that this is a "SIMPLIFIED" version of the book. I was sad to see complete pages missing! ("Hello, Jack! Hello, Jake! Shake hands shake hands shake shake shake!") It wasn't there, which meant it wasn't the same story I'd read to my kids. I'll keep this version, but I've already ordered the "original" version, too.

balon ❓: My child likes this book best of all so far. The rhyming scheme is appealing and easy to maintain and my child sometimes claps or beats along to it. Normally when my child is placed into the play pen, this book is the first one that is handed to me to be read. My child never loses interest in this book before we have finished reading it.

Amazon Customer: I ordered a stack of these, and keep one in my glovebox at all times. Someone has a baby? BAM! Give them the gift of reading to their child. Babies, toddlers, and children LOVE the flow and rhythm of this book.

Sascha S. Anschutz: Such a cute book

Beetroot queen: I have three children, let's start with the 14 year old who thirteen years ago loved this the best from his 50 strong dr suess library. I read this book twenty plus times a day to him and now at 14 he can still remember it. Is it anything to do with the fact he is now a percussionist studying for his grade 8 who knows. he was also reading by the age of three much to his nursery teachers amazement.
Our second child hated dr suess, she is now 12 and has struggled non stop with reading, her spelling is also awful.
Now onto our third child at one she also loves dr suess. Should I start saving for the percussion lessons now.
Great book, simple but different than any other book you will read, dr suess doesn't always make sense but neither does the outside world. Kids love it and so do we as parents. May the day be filled with many more monkeys drumming on drums.
