Richard E. Dye: I like that it makes flavorful coffee fairly quickly. It is perfect for my two-cup morning coffee. After each use I rinse and dry the pot and basket. It is a little difficult to wipe the inside of the carafe due to small opening. That is my only negative. I use paper filters rather than the included reusable filter.

S. Rego: I was looking for a 4-cup coffee maker that would let me "steal" a cup before the whole pot was full. This one fits those needs. A standard "cup size" is 6 oz and the water reservoir holds exactly 24 oz - no surprise there. But if you accidentally pour even slightly more than 24 oz of water into the carafe, and from there into the reservoir, the extra overflows onto the heating base.

The coffee grounds naturally retain some water, so you will not get four "6-oz cups" of coffee from 24 oz of water. Be aware that you will get closer to four 5-oz cups for every full pot you make. The coffee maker is fast, though. You can get a cup in just a few minutes and a whole pot in less than 10.

The base does not shut off in 30 minutes, as advertised. I don't know how long it would stay on because I turn it off when I empty any remaining coffee into a jar to refrigerate for cold coffee later.

Take care when using the carafe to fill the water reservoir, which has openings for water on the left and right, but not around the back. As a right-handed person, I need to pour into the right-hand opening, but first I need to move or take out the basket because the tab on the basket...

A.L. ShopperA.L. Shopper: Perfect for not wasting coffee if you're the only one who drinks it. It makes enough coffee to fill two mugs. It's easy to quickly clean. I'm really happy with it, and I love that it doesn't take up any space on my counter because my kitchen is small.

When it first comes in, soap wash the glass, and just brew water a couple times really quickly to clean it.

It looks classy, not cheap.

CarrieM: For me, this coffeemaker is about perfect. Its super small profile means it takes up nearly no space (in fact, it’s smaller in size overall than my slim-profile Kuerig knockoff and produces more coffee). The coffee it produces is deep, rich, and hot.

The k-cup filters will actually work to prevent a major mess in the reusable filter, if you pull it apart and don’t mind a few of the grounds going above it (otherwise, a #2 cone filter works in place of the reusable filter). A full pot of coffee fills my 24-oz contigo mug. My last pro is how adorable it is. The top metal front piece is actually magnetic, so small notes could be placed there with a magnet if desired.

My only cons on this product are: it’s so lightweight, it’s hard to lift the lid with one hand or turn off the pot afterwards because it doesn’t stay. The carafe design needs to be poured in a very specific way or it “leaks”, which isn’t great in an uncaffeinated state.

My last con is not really a full con, because I wanted a small coffeemaker as I’m the only one who needs it 99% of the time. I was hopeful it would produce enough coffee to share if a friend was over, but four cups is...
