Starrman: I feel very safe with this cane. I am a big dude and it more than can handle my weight. I have no worries that it is going anywhere except where I want it. I bought a small screwdriver and wrench set for use when needed. Several bandaids? Right inside! Room for lots of little emergency tools. I did switch out the plastic tip for a rubber one. I can also use it to dispatch hooligans if needed.

Nick: Always wanted a hefty walking stick, and this fits the bill 100% !! I have a tendency to lose my balance at times, and having this handy gives me the support I need to allay those fears.

Edz: This item has been machined to an extremely high degree of quality. It is not a lightweight walking pole, but rather is one that you can truly trust your weight to because it is so sturdy.
I wish there were some more accessories for it, such as a camera tripod head, and heads and tips with either male or female threads for better mix-and-match of parts in different configurations.

Doodahman.: So to start I like this walking stick build from the outside but it has a few flaws that make it less than 5 star for me.
Biggest for me is the ferro rod, it is built as the bottom of the unit i.e the part that touches the ground and is made of hard plastic that has no traction at all. Second are the actual tools, all are made with a plastic base so are not very durable if used for their intended use. Third, the handle does not get the best contact with the rest of the stick when used in cane mode causing a small wiggle.

Amazon Customer: Very well machined aluminum. The sections fit together flawlessly. Very sturdy and feels dependable. Fits my hand well. This is a great walking stick.

The weight is a plus for me. I hate walking my dog and being at the mercy of dogs off their leashes, with or without owner supervision... as for burglars I have my .45. If I meet a bear I guess I'll be eaten with or without a walking stick. Every weapon has it's limitations.

The length is a little awkward for me. I am 5'9" and it is a little too short as a walking stick, too tall as a cane. I wish I had ordered the extension as I intend to use it as a walking stick because I like the improved posture. It would have given me more options right from the start. The hard tip is great on carpet but useless on the streets and sidewalks so I will also have to order a rubber foot.

I plan to make a paracord wrist strap for comfort and security, a personal preference. I will post pictures when complete.

Overall would I order it again? Yes, I wish I had bought it years ago. It should last me a lifetime, unless of course one of those dogs gets it away from me and uses it on me, or the bear needs a great walking stick!

Amazon Customer: On the heavy side. Added extra section as I am tall. Grip a bit sharp but added paracord with fishing line & fire starter.
Now have nice serviceable grip.

　　Was using fallen branches and sticks, but suitable ones are sometimes hard to come by, and a few have given way while hiking by a cliff edge. Therefore, wanted something reliable, and portable.

☆ Used this product on several mountains and through a few forests, several times a week.

Pros: No worry of it snapping, has a nice heft, the height was alright (am not tall: 160cm).
Cons:
１）SCREWING
　　If you use it on rocky terrain, the repeated impact can cause the segments to slightly unscrew, and thus rattle. After tightening it very securely, the rattling stopped and it performed alright.
　　However, got blisters trying to disassemble afterward. Each segment is separated by a tool (which are honestly useless), but to take two segments apart, you only have the tiny grip on the tool portion to hold onto. If you hold the main grips on both sections and twist, all you do is reveal a lousy tool (a cheap pocket knife does better work than all those tools combined).

　　The whole body as well as its surface is metal. If you try to use this during winter, it will hurt your...
