Afloia Compact Dehumidifier for Small Spaces

Kimberly: I used 2x for a safe (major overkill) and they went to town dehydrating. Took it a couple days to pull the initial dampness from the safe (carpeting) and after that worked well and pulled humidity out much quicker.

Keep in mind it needs to catch up your environment and if you continually push humidity to it it will never catch up.

This is a southern Florida environment so keep that in account on this review.

Very easy to deal with and use. Looks nice and charging base is really nice.

Best and easiest for the money.

If you need something faster you will have to go "electric"

Used a ThermoPro TP50 Digital Hygrometer to track the humidity.
Took it 2 days to pull the initial moisture from 67% to 52% - 55% is max for any safe.
Lower the better. After it hit 52% it was time to recharge both canisters that came with this kit.

Hope this helps others understand what they are getting and how it works.

Chat Dad: I use this dehumidifier in a teardrop camper and it works great. It works just as described and is refreshed after just 2 hrs on the base. And it turns itself off, so no need to keep an eye on it all day like other brands.

skinny izzy: We’ve really like this product for our cars. My husbands car has a small leak and our other cars sun roof leaks a little. I used to keep damp rod hangers in there which would help. However I’d always have to be buying more. Or they fall and bust and make a huge mess! These are easy, clean, and fit right in the cup holder. Plus, since they’re reusable it’s much cheaper!

Erika: When I had some moisture issues in my vehicle this dehumidifier was the perfect solution. It was easy to use. Charge it up indoors and take it to the car. Depending on the moisture in the air it only needed to be charged every few days. I loved this product. I would highly recommend it.

Peter C.: The media could not be loaded.  Used in car. Dropped it by accident the mesh came out. Is there a way to fit it back in?

Works to an extent in my car. Not very effective. Last about 4 days before recharging.

Scott Wisecarver: I bought these for my RV. Now mind you, you have to bring them into the house to re-charge. It will release the moisture back into the air when charging. Very east to use. I re-charge them about once a month. The beads on the top start orange and turn dark when needing re-charged. Only down side is it automatically has a set time to re-charge. You might have to do it 2 or 3 times to get the beads back to orange.

brian brideau: My gun safe was 50-51% humidity before getting these and if they didn't work I'd tell you my safe sits at 44% humidity now and I still open it 3 to 4 times a day if I left it for full 24 to 48 hours close I bet it go down close to 40%. Hope they last years to come I haven't had to recharge them yet I'll update you on they if I have and concerns. Great product so far.

Update its been 4 days and humidity is at 42% in my gun safe 30 -50% is a safe storage for fire arms I installed rechargeable motion lights as well I bought a probrezze at first my safe was 53% humidity that 1 took it down to 51% adding the 2 pack ones took it to 42% don't buy probreeze humidifier buy these ones in the 2 pack you won't be disappointed

Kenny C: My application of this device was for an enclosed bathroom to help get rid of excess moisture as we will be having guests use that bathroom (it's a guest unit that has NO shower/bath - commonly known as "half-baths") for an upcoming stay. I wanted to keep the space comfortable as there is ventilation in the washroom (connected via HVAC) but no exhaust. Using a hygrometer, it measured 58% for a period of 72 hours prior to using this product. Using this product, the humidity only reduced to 55% for a 3% difference over another 72 hours. Based on the "duration" suggested by the marketing of 1-3 weeks on a single charge, it only lasted for four days before the gel was black. So, is it absorbing humidity? Presumably, sure, since the gel DID turn black. However, it really does not work well for my particular application and given that the space fell under the expected square footage parameters as the bathroom is 7x7 or 49sqft. I can see that some buyers are very satisfied because it worked for them, but unfortunately, did not for me. I will likely have to defer to using more of a vented or constantly-powered solution to get any real reduction.
