Just received this product a couple minutes ago and went to open it and the fire starter package is opened and it looks used. There are scrape marks on the fire starter as if it has been used already. Please see pictures above. As far as the emergency tent and sleeping bag, they look brand new. Will keep both in my daypack for when I do long hikes-hope to never have to use them. Overall glad about this purchase.

This emergency kit is perfect for my survival pack that I keep in my car for when I go on long road trips. I live in the CO mountains, so I like to keep safety gear in the car for unexpected situations. The bags don’t take up any space and weigh next to nothing. This would be perfect for long hikes just in case. I highly recommend this emergency kit.
