Brittany Hyde: I'm super happy with this purchase. I debated it for a long time because there are a LOT of choices out there for this type of equipment, and they vary a great deal in price, but not a ton in functionality. I figured the difference would be mostly in quality, and I gave it a shot.

I'd say it was well worth it. I'm several months in and it's still going strong without any issues at all. I will say that the display portion seems pretty cheap compared to the rest of it, and it's annoying that the battery dies quickly and has to be replaced (which I've already had to do), but for the price, I can't complain. Set-up was pretty painless, it's sturdy, it's comfortable, and it does the job. It's also pretty quiet, so when I'm on the phone and using it at the same time, no one knows. Trust me, I've asked.

I can't speak to how this compares to any other brand because I don't know anyone who's bought one, and I've only ever used the similar machines at the gym, but I feel that this gives me the same workout without the hassle.

Viking Spirit: I was looking for a way to exercise in my LR no matter the weather: sturdy, decent price, adjustable resistance, foldable if I need to. This unit fills the bill. Putting it together took some patience and thought, to make sure everything was facing the correct way. Some reviews seemed to complain about the rollers not working but that’s because they assembled the rear stand backwards - I speak from experience as I had to do it twice. So take heed!
It could use a bit more padding on seat and backrest so I use two small pillows. (Maybe you won’t be bony in the same places.) The onboard computer has good options and easy to read. I liked the sturdiness of the stand, there are a lot of other models out there that look like they might topple over if riding at a brisk pace. I also like the elastic cords for exercising one’s arms at the same time or after riding, they give good stretch options. In total, this unit will give you a good workout and options to work your way up the resistance dial when you’re ready ( I’m still at 4) and the pedaling diameter is more like a regular bike than, say, those little Cubii things. carolingalong: This exercise bike was easy to assemble (by myself). You can't beat the quality for the price. The bike "rides" smoothly and quietly. I sure do wish I could figure out why the back rest has been designed to move on hinges, but I don't really seem to need to use that. I like the electronic readout, the ledge for a tablet, and the arm pulleys to add some upper body movement into the mix. The tension adjustment for the pedals works, though it's not super smooth or easy to see what tension level you're on. But dialing right makes it harder to pedal and dialing left makes it easier, so I guess that's good enough.

Christin D: I was looking for something I could do at home. Summer is coming and it's so stinkin hot outside and I'd rather be in the ac working out than being outside dying heatstroke and mosquitoes.

I didn't time myself setting this up, but it was on Friday night and I took my time, it was quite easy, instructions were very simple to follow.

Once I got it up I tried all 3 settings to see which I felt most comfortable with. I like the far back position the most. I started with setting 1-3 and I did about 15 min for the first couple days. And I turn on youtube cycling videos and I ride and it's actually quite fun. I split up my rides today 20 min am and 20 min pm. I'm enjoying it so far.i tried level 5 and it was a hell no too soon. I can't imagine anything higher. It's like going up a hill. 🥵

I used to ride my bike in cali all the time, I miss it. This thing is quiet and I really enjoy it. I took the foot holders off the pedals they were annoying me. I use flip flops on the petals, they aren't comfortable bare foot.
