Mrs C M Blance: I can’t understand why they have done this. They show the cover but not any pages inside. The art style of the pages is quite different to the cover. I was attracted to the cover showing a plain background with the pattern in the dog making the dog stand out in detail whereas all the pages have background patterns with the dogs merging into the pattern. A completely different effect. Why mislead people this way or why not show some inside pages so that customers know what they are getting. I have returned my order because I wanted the style shown on the cover.

The pages would appear to be of normal coloring paper quality. They are not waxy or thin. I would recommend using fine tip markers, gel pens, or colored pencils. Colors or anything that is thick would not work, as there are a lot of intricate spaces. I have used gel pens on the...

The Parenting PatchThe Parenting Patch: If you are dog lover who enjoys adult coloring books, Amazing Dogs Adult Coloring Book is perfect for you! I have always loved doing arts and crafts including coloring. Now when my daughter works on her school work, my son and I sit at the table with her and color. I absolutely love all the gorgeous dog designs in this coloring book. I am a huge dog lover, so the intricate dog pictures suit me quite well. Each picture is full of small details and patterns to color. I consider this book as created for the more advanced artist because of the intricacy of the designs. I love spending a few hours over a few days working on a single picture. Colored pencils, gel pens, and fine-tip markers are all perfect mediums for coloring in Amazing Dogs Adult Coloring Book.
I love that the page in Amazing Dogs Adult Coloring Book contain designs on only one side. I have an extensive collection of colored pencils, but I also love markers and have developed a recent love of gel pens. Both markers and gel pens can bleed through paper, so I cannot use either on double-side pages. With this coloring book, I can use both! In fact, the first picture that I colored was of the shih tzu (just like my...

FeeFee: As a child I would sit for hours colouring in, and I know it is now a craze for adults again as a form of relaxation, and I have certainly enjoyed colouring with this book.
This has 32 beautiful pictures of dog to colour, with a list at the back as to what breed they are, I liked that were was quite a variety ranging from small dogs to the larger breeds. All the designs are different and the dogs are doing something different as well.
I used coloured pencils as the paper is a little thin, but the pencils held up well, if you were to use pen I would recommend taking the page out of using some kind of page filler between the pages to stop the ink transferring through.
I spent a few days doing one design and I completely felt relaxed whilst doing so, even my hubby commented on how chilled I was..
Over all this was a great book, with beautiful designs, though there are a few things I would change:
Number the pages so you can find the dog you want easily
Move the list of pictures to the start of the book
Make the pages perforated to make removing them easier

Lisa's LifeLisa's Life: I'm already a fan of colouring books for grown-ups so this is a nice addition to my collection. Inside, you’ll find over 30 different doggy designs so there’s bound to be one of your favourite breeds included, mine's the Labrador.
The patterns have a definite hand-drawn quality to them rather than the precise perfection Secret Garden etc but it’s always a treat to have drawings on one side of the paper only so if you choose to use pens the colour doesn’t spoil the image on the other side.
Great for the price.

Raspberrygiggle: When I saw a colouring book full of dogs I didn't immediately think, oh this will be for an adult. I see a colouring book full of animals and immediately think it will be for children. Wrong! This is not just colouring in dogs. They are very intricate and pretty pictures that have a lot of detail to colour in. Although my children have wanted to help me with colouring in this book and we have sat together to colour in some of the pictures, it is definitely a book I would sit and do by myself in the evening relaxing and would certainly purchase it as a gift for other adult lovers of colouring.
The book features 70 pages of beautiful pictures to colour in, each page featuring a different breed of dog. In the back of the book is a list of the dogs featured. The only thing I would have liked is to see page numbers in the book so I could easily refer to which dog was which. My son wanted to colour a dog like our late Lab/Staffy cross and I had to count the pages to find the Lab picture!
The paper is good quality, however, I would say stick to pencil crayons as felt tips do tend to bleed through to the next page.
Overall a really fun colouring book for adult dog and...
