perri: My boyfriend’s cat has some sort of leg issue and he gnaws at his back left leg. The vet gave him a soft cone but he’s still able to go after the leg. We’ve tried many cones and we bought this hoping it would prevent him from going after that back leg. First one that actually works! I can tell that he hates it but at least he can’t go after his wound. I will say though, it’s hard for him to eat.

LupeLupe: For reference, I have a 7 pound Pomeranian mix, and I got the size Medium and it fits her good. When I measured her neck, it was right under 8 inches so I was going to go for the large. But, after reading some reviews and seeing some review photos, I decided to go for the medium. I was nervous it would be to small because according to the listing, the medium fits up to 8 inches. But, it fits her perfectly on the second button.. So I would say they run a little bigger than the listing claims. It seems to be a bit heavy for her and it wobbles around when she walks. Maybe it will just take some getting used to. But, overall, it seems sturdy, comfortable and it’s a good product for the price.

BE NICE: My cat started attacking her tail, needed tail tip amputation so I bought one of these. The blue soft part on the first cone I ordered was smooth like in the first stock picture with the dog. Well even with ANY cone she can still reach her tail tip when she curls up like a cinnamon roll, so she had a 2nd surgery to bob her tail short. I was worried the cone was getting TOO soft and crumpled from her running into everything with it SO I bought a 2nd cone. However, the 2nd cone came with the soft part all wrinkled just like the 3rd picture in this Amazon listing. I noticed she can ALMOST still reach her tail, even bobbed, so I haven't switched to this crinkled cone yet. I'm afraid that part will collapse inward way too easy and allow her to reach her tail. I just don't understand the inconsistency with the product. Why is one completely smooth and the other one all crinkled? To be fair, the pictures DO show the variance though.

Jj: I needed a soft cone as my cat was going to be having surgery so I got this as I couldn't find anything similar elsewhere for same price. This turned out to be super helpful and was comfortable due to the cushioning around the neckline. It can also be adjusted to size to fit much smaller animals. Overall it made for easy and comfortable surgery recovery. It is also easy to clean and dry.
