Adjustable Aluminum Walking Crutches - Ideal for Post-Injury or Post-Surgery Support

DDDD: Long story short: I bought them in September, but opened the box today ( December), because the need just arrived. Needless to say, my mistake. Because I cannot even return it now. One of the crutches came broken with missing parts. Totally unusable.

Dvyne59: M'ayant cassée la jambe en moto, j'avais du mal à me déplacer. Surtout avec les "cannes anglaises" disponibles en France. Trop instables!!. Donc, étant américaine, je me suis payée cette paire de béquilles. (le style on utilise là bas) Elles sont beaucoup plus stables, et tu peux libérer les mains (pour ouvrir une porte fermé a clé, par exemple) sans que les béquilles tombent par terre, ou pire, que TU tombes par terre!! Après plus de 5 semaines et plusieurs kilomètres, les patins sont toujours en bon état. Je suis très contente avec ce produit.

SunSun: Non le auguro a nessuno ma se proprio avete bisogno delle stampelle, io con queste mi sono trovata benissimo. Premetto che ho sempre usato le stampelle a gomito ma per il mio problema, ( lesione spinale) le trovavo scomode e faticose da usare. Queste sono state la svolta, sono ingombranti ammetto ma appoggi bene il peso e stai ben dritto con la schiena e diventa più facile fare una passeggiata lunga. sono regolabili e resistenti, imbottite e lavabili. Oramai le ho da 5 anni e sono ancora perfette.

Casual Gamer: Good crutches, easy to adjust. Only thing letting them down is the quality of the ferrules. They didn't last a month of use around the bungalow only, not outside. Standard size though, so easy to replace from any disability shop.

Boyd: I am very happy with these crutches. I had a tibial fracture and I need to wear cast for a long time. I used standard crutches for a while, but as a student I have to walk around a great deal from class to class, carrying a bag and whatnot.

The standard crutch I had did not have enough adjustment pins to adjust the height as I needed, after prolonged use my arms would also go numb, carrying the weight my leg was supposed to carry was a bit much for them.

But when I switched to these, I found them to be much more comfortable. Unlike solid plastic, these have a foamy pad where it goes under your armpit and it provides better support which is also more comfortable. I also found it easier to find a height and holding pin adjustment that worked much better for me. The pads at the bottom are also made very well, I had a couple of slippage issues with the standard crutches in rainy days but these have a stronger grip.

These are like next generation clutches at a great price, so definitely recommended.
