Joe Dirt: I was kind of disappointed in this product. I work out with kettlebells, and was having an issue with slippage and grip due to my sweat. I was hoping for a SOLID block of chalk that I could grip with one hand, then rub on the other, applying a nice, thick layer of chalk to improve my grip. When I received the two blocks and opened them up, they were broken up into a hundred pieces- not the fault of the shipper, this chalk is just that brittle. When I apply the chalk before working out, it just breaks apart in my hand and small pieces fly all over the floor, meaning I have to vacuum every day in my workout room.
I have found that I can take a good sized piece, put it in my hands, and rub it in thoroughly, which does coat my hands in the chalk, but it does make a godawful mess. I also have to reapply the chalk every 3-5 minutes, as it rubs off quickly on the kettlebells. That being said- it does improve my grip and help with the sweat issue. It definitely does what I was hoping, however I wanted a solid block that wouldn't break apart and make a mess every time I use it. If you don't have an issue with that, this product is great- it definitely works and the price is great. I...

Sydney Melton: I started doing full body lifts in the gym like dead lifts and squats. This chalk is great for keeping my hands dry and preventing abbrasions on the pads of my inner hand. It can be a little brittle so make sure you keep it in your gym bag and clean up after yourself at the gym. A lot of gyms ban using chalk because everyone wants to run around pretending they are lebron james before a playoff game and getting chalk all over the place. Be courteous with this stuff.

ohjonny: My oh my, what a difference chalk makes. Dads should sit their boys down at 'that age', and explain to them the benefits of chalk while lifting. No, it isn't messy like you'd think. No there isn't a powder in the air when you use it, unless you are a fanatic clapper. Yes, you will suddenly have zero slippage of your grip. Yes, you will suddenly be able to alternate grip the barbell and lift triple your body weight, with barely any discomfort. And yes, you will fall in love with this product like I did, and also wish your dad would have sat you down and explained the benefits of chalk.

Mpaull15: This gym chalk is exactly what I wanted it to be. It stays in one piece, doesn't crumble or make a mess, but comes off onto the hands easily. It doesn't leave lasting marks on the barbells, and keeps my hands dry and my grip strong even when I'm tired. Since starting to use this chalk, I haven't had any problems with cuts or blisters on my hands, and in fact barely have more calluses than I would if I didn't lift weights.
In addition to preventing injuries, it has allowed me to more fully realize my grip strength. Before using chalk my deadlift was limited by my ability to hold on to the bar. With chalk I am able to use a double-overhand grip on my work set again, and my hands have gotten stronger as a result.
Chalk should be a part of any weight lifter's arsenal, and this chalk is effective, a good price, and does everything I wanted it to. I highly recommend it.

Ashley Johnson: I bought this product thinking it was Ader but it’s actually Treadmill Doctor chalk. I was actually pleasantly surprised how much I love this brand just as much as Ader and it’s cheaper! Will definitely be buying from this selling again
