Amazon Customer: I put these on my kitchen cabinet door. They have a felt lining in between the metal. This felt lining keeps them from scratching my cabinet. Someone was thinking when they created this item.

Jbag: The inside of the hook is padded, so it doesn’t scratch the wood. There’s also a screw hole in the back side so you could secure it it you didn’t want it to “flop” when you open/close the door.

Looks great and like the idea that it comes with pre drilled holes so that it can be screwed to door. You just need to buy the screws.
