mommy of three: My one dog (shih-tzu mix) freaks out with the slightest rumble of thunder or if we go in a different part of the yard then he’s used to going (we have a few acres). He used to slip right out of his collar and one time he ran into the road. My husband was able to get him and thankfully a driver stopped for him. With these, he can’t do that. They’re thick, well made and wash well. They are also a good length. All 3 dogs tend to go in different directions outside and there is enough length they’re not on top of each other and no one is slipping out of their collars.
