BlueIrisBlueIris: I'm new to purchasing leashes and at first I got one here at Amazon was $4.99. I was happy with it but, I needed another, so I bought this more expensive one for $10. The difference is worth the extra price. It is wider, has an extra seam down the middle which will make it more durable and...I like the fact that it has a metal hook at BOTH ends. I have come to depend on the second hook to loop the leash and hook it the second hook or, hook BOTH ends to something;, freeing my hands. Go the extra few bucks and get the iYoPets Long Dog Leash or, at least, get one with 2 hooks. p.s. I was using wire leashes covered in plastic coating but they can't take much freezing weather. They will snap (as mine did). My 10 mo-old standard poodle pup is 40 lbs already and when that wire would wrap around her slender legs (and it will), it was painful for her as evidenced by her yelping. I also tired of bruising my legs. I knew I had to get something else. And now, ta-da…with the iYoPets cloth leash...problem solved!

Chaos & Coffee: I bought this to match a collar that I recently purchased when my beagle outgrew her old one. This is a great leash!!
The blue is so pretty and is like a deep sky blue. It's well stitched, has a nice handle that isn't rough on the hands, the link is nice and heavy but easy to open and close, and has an extra link near the handle so you can clip another leash or your keys or whatever and have less to tote.
I haven't washed this yet but I'm sure it will wash well. She has dragged this through rain dampened grass and it has dried in almost no time.
You can check my reviews for the collar I bought. They match like they were made together. She totally looks cute and knows it. She has shown it off to all the neighbors and has gracefully accepted all forms of compliments and cookies.

Leolo: I bought the 25 ft medium/large leash in purple for use in my dog’s training class. I like the color and reflective stitching, and I appreciate the padded handle. Seems sturdy and well-made, although as my dog is only 18 pounds, she doesn’t offer any challenge to this leash. In looking at the stitching at the stress points, near the clasp and handle, it looks solid. Given how long the leash is, it does not feel overly heavy, which was a happy surprise. I had considered getting the small size instead of the medium (given that my dog’s weight is right at the transition point between the two sizes), but I thought a thinner leash might be more prone to leash burn and less comfortable in my hand. Hard to say. Would be nice if they would show the two leashes side by side, or at least give the width of the small leash, which I could not find anywhere in the description.

BogFrog: Really like this 15’ leash! Started with one and now have several so are never without. Works great for full grown Labrador retriever and we started using this with our lab pup at 10 weeks. We were worried it would be too wide and heavy for her but she didn’t skip a beat. We live on acreage and keep small dogs/pups on leashes after dark (to availed lurking coyotes). We haven’t tested the reflective threads but it must work well because cars veer wide around us when we’re on the road after dark. We started with orange and now have green and light blue (green looks neon yellow until light is low and then it’s green). Loop padding is nice (not at all bulky), stitching is solid, quality hard wear, quality webbing. This is a solid, not flimsy, leash! Highly recommend!
Update-We’ve now owned the leashes well over a year and use the 15’ orange leash daily. We live in the rainy NW so it is wet and dry on a daily basis and has also be exposed to salt water/air. It is still as strong as the first day with the webbing. stitching, hardware, and handle holding up fabulously. When it needs a good cleaning, we toss it in the washing machine and hang dry. Outstanding leash...
