Karla Alvarado: It’s has more space then what we thought, we were able to fit half of our camping gear we usually take. It was easy to set up and put away. We took a 2 hour drive and there were no tares or damage to the fabric.

I think I’m a ROBOTI think I’m a ROBOT: We packed 2 adult camping chairs, 1 lg tent bag, 4 sleeping bags, tarps, 4 pillows and 2 backpacks. As the picture shows we still had room left! My only suggestion would be to upgrade the tie down straps as the plastic snap clips made me nervous at 65mph although they held up just fine. Overall very pleased with this! Good thickness, seems well stitched together, we didn’t get any rain on this trip so we can’t speak to the weather proof capabilities.

Aaron J OConnor: It had water in it for second time in a row of opening it. So I had to take everything out. Take straps loose on one side and dump it. The bottom makes good water container. Most everything in the bag is in some kind of other bag or plastic box. My big heater wasn't ! It was in the box. The box is done, heater seems ok it has case so that kept it above water. Well now I will be putting heater in 55 gallon bag. And if I get much rain will check for water. The bag is big holds a lot of stuff. It's cheap enough to replace when those zippers give trouble. I don't know if hard topper would be big enough. And cost is 4 times or so. I now am replacing the bag. Wet inside setting still in the rain. I cut 2 holes to let water drain out.

Amazon Customer: This roof top carrier is great. Waterproof as described. Zippers strong and easy to maneuver even with a tight fit. When used with a mat and proper strapping it didn’t budge on a four day cross country trip through wind rain and snow. The only disappointment I have is that it is smaller than I anticipated. I recommend this bag.

Tim Britz Jr: Thought the bag would be a bit more ridged but it's just a bag. Did a test run to work and found it catches the wind and lifts, making a perfect wind block!
Unless you have an air dam or deflector, I wouldn't recommend this in the open air flow.
Construction of the product is very heavy and tough, along with the straps and snaps. Zippers are covered too, making it pretty water tight. Very large foot print makes it usable for anything.
So, other than the attachment and wind resistance concern, this product is ok.
