Somewhat basic, however also what I was looking for in an affordable school 2-in-1. Well-priced “mid range” almost as inexpensive as “budget” models .
Screen is glossy (some glare, also easy to clean fingerprints) and low-res FHD only. Works well enough for the task.
Stylus is small and works well enough with tactile feedback. I often just use a finger to poke the touch screen for many tasks.
Trackpad button clicking is somewhat disappointing (too much pressure needed).
8GB ram (min. any laptop should have) and generous SSD. Sufficient for school work.

After a little research, I decided on Linux Mint 20 for this laptop. The Active Stylus and tablet mode are amazing! with MyPaint, I can draw just like I had pencils or paint. The stylus is weight sensitive, so I can draw airbrush light strokes or heavy dark lines just by pressing a little harder - just like with a pencil. Building 3-D structures in FreeCAD is also seamless and smooth. There is enough computing power to run all of this and watch a movie on an external monitor at the same time.
