Jonathan: Bought this specially for working on a Mini Cooper. If you know you know. To prevent any costly errors I'd rather dial in the ft lbs than guessing. Not a fan of click type for anything under 40 ft lbs.

Also I'd rather have the digital wrench vs the digital adapter. What's the point if you can't get the adapter in small areas?

D@rkFX: Purchased this to torque spark plugs to spec on my 2016 BMW X6 50i. Not only I had to redo the job due to incorrect gapping but I also replaced the spark plugs on my wife’s BMW, so the tool worked without issue and didn’t cause any issues which would have been very costly.

Dale Tallyn: I did some research on torque wrenches and found this product rates fairly high. I have a small shop and have used it with no issues so far, however be prepared that the instructions are not helpful and needs to be redone. I used YouTube to figure out how to use it.

Amazon Customer: Does what it's supposed to do. The menu and setting up torques can take a while to figure out and get used to. Feels great in the hand, it's light and easy to use otherwise.

After having owned this for about 2 years these are the deficiencies I came across. The screen get's easily tarred after repeated cleaning with brake cleaner. The tool tends to turn off if not used within a set time which means that you have to keep checking to make sure it's on, otherwise, you could end up over torquing your bolts. I would hope for a setting to set the timeout limit. Lastly, I found recently that when trying to remove a bolt the notch used to put it in reverse would move to the middle and the wrench wouldn't work properly. I do see in the picture above that they may have updated this mechanism so it may not be a problem anymore.

Overall, a great tool and can't go wrong for the price.

EZ: I originally wrote this review after owning the wrench for about a month and using it on one major project. Now after a year and more uses, I'm adding additional observations and adjusting my rating from 5 to 4 stars. It's still a good buy IMO, but see below for the full details and things you should be aware of when buying this torque wrench.

It's a bit pricey, but this torque wrench is perfect for smaller and more precise jobs. It's far more accurate at lower torques than the craftsman, and easier to use, and to make sure you're torquing everything down right. Digital tone rather than physical click when reaching the set torque, and works on both left and right handed threads, unlike the craftsman. Also unlike the craftsman, this wrench uses AAA batteries which are cheap and easy to replace, and even includes a nice storage case with a slot to keep a spare set of batteries. It toggles easily between Ft Lbs and Newton-Meters on the digital display, sounds a warning beep when getting close to the torque setting, and actively displays the torque readout while you wrench on it.

After a day of use, it started displaying the message 'Err' on the LCD when first powered...
