Kathy: I needed batteries for smoke detectors in my son’s house—but he has seven smoke detectors. I looked at the prices for the big name brand 9 volt batteries and had sticker shock. I saw these at a much better price and thought I would give them a try. They are at least a name I recognize, unlike some others I looked at. So far, they work great in the smoke detectors, and since I try to replace the batteries yearly as recommended, I am not worried about whether they will last as long as other brands. They seem like good batteries and a great value.

Keith in Ontario: Exactly as described. They claim a shelf-life of 5 years (not tested yet by me). We will see if they have good user-life but so-far, so good.

Gus K: All (12) arrived 9.61V. Surface charge removal (2) seconds = 9.31V. After maybe (15) minutes, all were at 9.49V-9.51V. I was surprised at the consistency. I feel confident enough to try these in our annual smoke detector/water/freeze alarms this year. Time will tell, if this was a mistake.
