Brad: I had a tiny leak going on in my 05 Colorado and I used this entire vial in my cooling system and found a crack in the bottom of my heater core firewall coupler. I never would have found without this dye. I might have been able to use only half a bottle, I’ll try that next time. I used a uv penlight to illuminate and find the leak.

Mitch Zern: I used this in "average" every vehicle coolant (Yellow) instead of in Dexcool as directed and have had no problems at all. I tested a small amount of the coolant and dye together before-hand, most of the mixture being dye, and saw no problems with the coolant and dye mixing.
Extremely easy to use but you will make a UV mess if you're not careful.
