Marlene Chwalek: I really hoped this scale would work for me. I'm a stage 4 kidney patient and was informed recently that I must record everything I eat and the nutritional value. Specifically the Sodium, Carbohydrates, and sugar.
It is extremely time consuming to write down everything I put in my mouth and figure its nutritional value. Even taking the info off of canned products which always has a ton of salt. I did get this item in spite of Sugar amounts were not part of the nutrition on the scale - not sure why!

First, I put items on the scale that I had all the information that was on a products label. Never touching the scale, over the next 30 seconds or so, the numbers went up and down. Example - Salt on one item started at 190 then 178 and then 182. Protein: 77.66 to 73 to 74.42. Fat: 30.29 to 29.23 to 29.12. Calories: 596.2 to 615 to 594. Cholesterol: 248 to 240 to 239.
Another item: Calories: 615.6 to 60.26. Cholesterol: 248 to 243 to 235.

This item is being returned much to my dismay.

C: Only 4 stars because it’s too easy to turn on. I travel a lot for work so I take this with me and meal prep on the road. I have to remove the batteries otherwise it will turn on in my suitcase and drain the battery life. It needs a simple off/on switch on the bottom

Mrs G: Really useful for following a calorie controlled diet but can also be used for general cooking purposes. I love the fact that a lot of the items you use regularly are listed on the scale so no more searching through booklets all the time . I have not yet keyed in other items to the list but that will come at a later date.
