Rebekah: The media could not be loaded.  Little and lightweight, it does the job. I bought it to help me weigh packages for clothing and whatnot I sell on Poshmark. It does seem to overweigh some items (eg my iPad Air 3 without the case should only weigh 1.005 lbs and on the scale it’s a little more; my MacBook Air M1 is also more on the scale than what apple says it should weigh but it does have a case on it), but overall it’s super easy to use and clean. To turn it off, just hold down on the power button (top half of the power/zero button) and it’ll turn off, or you can wait for it to turn off if it doesn’t detect use. I’m sure it would work well as a good scale too. Works best on a hard, flat surface. I got it for $10 on here, so not a bad deal overall imo.

JackieJackie: The media could not be loaded.  I love this digital scale! It is so easy to use to weigh my food portions. I typically weigh my food in grams, however, it can easily be changed to a different unit of measurement. The flat surface makes it easy to clean up if food gets spilled on it. I would definitely buy it again!

John R. Kirk: I really can't find any flaws in this product. It's a little small (compact), but that's exactly what I wanted. If you want a larger scale, be sure to check the measurements before you buy. But for me, this size was ideal. Measures 4 different types of units. Easy one-button push to change from measuring grams, ml, lb:oz, or fluid ounces. Put your dish or plate on the scale before you turn it on and the device automatically zeros that weight out so you only measure the food/ingredients that are added. A single flat surface, so crumbs cannot accumulate under the scale. Touch a button to turn on and touch and hold the same button to turn off. If you forget to turn it off (which I recommend you do in order to save battery life) it auto-shuts down after two minutes. I can't think of a single quibble. It was the most inexpensive model I saw -- and that sometimes gives me pause -- but after having used it, I can't see why anyone would want/need to spend more.

Teresa RemsbergTeresa Remsberg: I have been wanting a digital scale for kitchen use, so when I was offered a sample from the seller for an honest review I jumped at the chance. It was well packaged and delivered ahead of schedule. I only just received this, so I haven't used it for cooking yet, but I did some simple tests.

First, it came with the batteries, always a plus. It looks stylish. It isn't too heavy, but feels sturdy. The size is great, I can easily set a bowl on it but it doesn't take up a lot of counter space. It will measure in ounces, pounds and ounces, grams, and kilograms. I tried to find something I could use to check the accuracy. I learned that pennies weigh 2.5 grams. As you can see, 4 pennies did add up to the correct 10 grams, although there was some fluctuation. It doesn't measure fractions of grams, but I don't usually measure in grams anyway!

One aspect I especially like is that you can zero out the weight of a bowl or plate so you are just weighing whatever you put inside. You can see that the bowl weighed 1.4 ounces, but when I put it on the scale first, then turned it on, the weight of the bowl was automatically subtracted.
