It reads my weight at 260 pounds perfectly the instruction of this item is really good. It is consistent if I get off the scale then get right back on. It is right on. I went and got weighed at the doctors office on a professional scale, and it was right on the money. Highly recommend this item. As a matter of fact, I am going to buy another one. Just keep in the closet when I need it. Hopefully it will be for a long long time before I need it. If so, I will give it as a gift to somebody I love.

D. C. Smay: We replaced an older electronic scale that finally gave up the ghost with the Taylor Precision Products Stainless Steel Electronic Lithium Scale and we couldn't be happier with it. Unlike our previous scale, with this one you simply step directly on the scale and it gives you an accurate weight reading. No need to tap it first and let it adjust before checking your weight. And it looks very sleek and modern and attractive, with very easy to read numbers, accurate to a tenth of a pound - or switch to kilograms if you prefer. We're very pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

Evie M: I like it a good bit. Seems accurate enough, within 2 lbs of my dr's scale so not bad at all. I like the aluminum, my last two scales were glass and both met the same ends: something fell from the bathroom counter and they shattered. Not this time!
The scale arrived packaged appropriately, in a timely fashion and on the projected schedule.
My one complaint is that when weighing, it will sometimes go off and stop computing before a steady weight has been achieved, no matter how still I am. It gives accurate readings whether I'm on one or both feet, as long as the surface is level and hard (hardwood floor in this case and yes, level. I checked)...provided it can determine a weight. It fluctuates between about 8 lbs--165..166.8...171.4....172...171.4....164.2...165.8...165.2...167.4...169.--cuts off. I sometimes have issues obtaining an immediate reading on other scales due to a balance issue (my legs are two different lengths and balancing between them is hard so if that doesn't work I shift to one foot entirely) and by the time I maintain steady balance on one or both feet, it normally shuts down and I have to start over and hope it allows me to try again...

jeffery: I ordered this scale to help with my weight-loss journey. I weighed 185 lbs. in high school, ballooned up to almost 300 lbs, and now weigh 215 lbs.
If you are reading this review you are probably trying to wade through the endless amounts of weight scales available online and in various retailers. I was initially concerned with the price of this scale because there are many other scales around this price range than have been reported to stop working after a few months. I'm the kind of shopper that is willing to pay MORE for a quality product. I decided to try this scale, and have to say I am pleased with the product.
Price
-------------------------------
I think $30~ is a fair price for this scale, if anything, it could be slightly more expensive.
Quality/features
------------------------------
1. The stainless steel looks good to me, no complaints here.
2. The digital screen is very easy to read with the black on blue background.
3. I have size 13 feet and can still fit on the scale.
4. auto shutoff feature is nice
Accuracy

I honestly doubted that any scale at this price point would be...

Tim_Fran: When my 16-year-old Health-o-meter 840D electronic digital scale suddenly died I was disappointed. That disappointment did not last long, however, once I received my new Taylor 7407 digital scale! I had checked the bathroom scale ratings on a leading consumer magazine website and found another Taylor model, the 7506, was on the top of the list. I also looked at a lot of scales and read many reviews before settling on the Taylor 7407. Its 0.8" thick profile is very stable, and it does not creak and groan like my old plastic scale, in fact when you step on it doesn't make a sound. It is functional and attractive, and it is very accurate and easy to read. Calibration is quick and easy, but must be done each time the scale is moved to maintain accurate readings. I like the fact that the top is stainless steel instead of glass, and that it uses lithium batteries so I won't be changing batteries for a long time. I have had a few bathroom scales in my lifetime, and this is by far the best of the bunch.
