willie: I had really liked the scale. But lately it seems to be acting up. I grabbed a block of cheese that weighs 6 lbs and weighed it. The scale shows err. It is suppose to go up to 22 lbs. Changed batteries- same thing happened. Used mainly twice a day for weighing pups food.
Do not have manual so not sure if there is a reset button.

Maria: It works great and is very convenient. I bought it because I was recently diagnosed with Type1 Diabetes and I needed to be able to measure out portions for accurate carb counts. I’ve found it helpful. I have not cleaned it at all, I just put a piece of plastic wrap over top every time I use it to keep it from getting dirty. The zero out function is handy to negate extra weight such as a container. Totally worth it, very pleased, very easy to use. Very nice to be able to switch between units such as grams and ounces.

Skydancerca: Bought this because it accurately weighs up to 10kg/22lbs, just enough to weigh my carry on luggage before leaving home. ( Many kitchen scales only weigh up to 5kg. ) I love that it has a tare function and I can change from lbs to oz to ml, or gram/kilogram. It turns on quickly and can be turned off manually or it will turn itself off after a few seconds. It tells you the weight very quickly and accurately. It uses two AAA batteries which are easy to replace. The numbers are backlit, which I love, because its all very clear and bright. I only wish they would also light up the on/off/tare button and the lbs/oz/kg button, because I cannot see them in half dark. The scale top has a turquoise blue protective cover on it which I'm leaving on because I love the color. The actual scale is is a modern, contrasting steel and black. The style is sleek and thin. I really like this scale and hope it will last.

My Opinion: This weight scale is very compact and does nto require much space for storage. I keep it in the cupboard above the counter where it fits nicely on top of some containers.
I was attracted to this model because it has larger capacity than most kitchen scales and supposedly is precise to 1 gm.
The capacity is OK, not a problem there however when tested with 5kg and 500 gm calibration weights the weight is slightly off. On 5kg it shows between 5.007 to 5.009 and on 500 gm it shows between 500 to 503.
What is more inconvenient it takes some time to get a stable result. Every time you put the weight, the result can be different by a few grams. Then if you wait a few seconds the scale may change its indicated weight by a gram or two. It is certainly less than 1/2 of 1% mistake but then why would you by 1 gm precision scale that can accurately show the weight within 2-9 grams, depending on the total weight being examined.

A rare reviewer: I wanted to use this for a few weeks before reviewing it. It arrived nicely packaged without the extraneous packing that some companies use in shipping. It was very easy and intuitive to use. The display was bright and easy to read with white numerals over a blue background. It was easy to tare (zero) and was easy to find the different types of weights in both metric and American.
When I first started using the scale, the weights were spot on. However, after a few weeks of use, the weights in grams started to vary consistently. Not by many but it was difficult to get an accurate weight. I had to constantly recheck the weight and would have to settle for 2 out of 3 weights agreeing. I want it to be accurate because I am currently putting my pets on a diet, vet's orders, and need accuracy to the gram. I am sending this feedback to the manufacturer to see if I can get the problem resolved.
