Tom: This is not a super precise or fast scale but it is great for general cooking work. Works fine for baking but isn't super precise. Probably not gonna want this for pastry.

Ray: it is plastic - but it holds up well, it isn't too heavy. very accurate, easy to see the weight even with a large bowl on the scale top. while my last scale had more settings, i don't find i am missing anything by having the 3 available on this model.

MDR: If you search most reviews, this unit will most likely be on top and for good reason. The price is great and it reliably weights your portions. I waited forever to get a kitchen scale and this one made me glad I did.

James from Boise: Great retro colors. Display is easy to read and buttons give a solid response. I like the 2 significant digits to know the exact weight. It is overall light in weight yet sturdy. All plastic make it a breeze to clean.

Philip: The context for the 5 star rating starts with price. One can buy a more robust and heavier pair of scale and pay twice the price, but the Escali Primo scales are accurate, easy to clean, stylish, nicely put together and robust enough for the purpose. That they use AA batteries is a plus, as is paying half the price of my previous scales.

Frederik Vos: Deze weegschaal heb ik aangeschaft omdat de oude veel te traag was bij het meten. Wat zeker bij kleine hoeveelheden, als er nauwkeurig gewerkt moet worden, zeer irritant is.
Op aanraden van anderen deze gekozen, en het is een perfecte keuze: zeer snel en nauwkeurig!
