LSDreams: You could probably get some at a hardware stores that’s just as good. I thought the brand name would fit as easy as the inline and carbon filter

Anniee: I don't know anything about ac stuff but I needed a new ac hose for my portable ac unit and it needed to be able to hold up some heat cus that little thing lets out some hot air. So I read a review on here and the guy said it worked good on his ac unit so I figured what do I have to loose. Thank God It went good it works great had it for a couple of months now and it works great and has my little unit working great in this Florida heat! The only thing is it's a little smaller than the hole on my unit but just used some weather heat tape and works just fine.

Austin David: I have a portable AC unit from a big-box store. After several years the provided vinyl duct started to tear. It measured "about" 6", so I got this 6" replacement.
This one is slightly larger than the other, but just big enough to fit outside the fixtures (as opposed to inside, in the original duct). It's a snug fit, I just taped around the edges with some gaff tape. Didn't even need the included GINORMOUS hose clamps.
The duct itself is insulated and is noticeably cooler than the original vinyl, which means my AC is more effective at dumping heat back outside. The material is also more flexible and more attractive than before. I'm super happy with this duct, highly recommend it.

Eleanor: From the provider description, I expected a stronger material on this item. It feels too thin on touch and can be torn. It is well made and flexible though, it serves its purpose so far but I have doubts about its durability.

B. T. Smith: I mistakenly thought I had a 6" vent pipe in my basement. It was a 5" pipe. This still worked. I was able to tighten the clamp and compress the flex tube on the 5" vent.
