Hans Hoppe: First of all it's printed well. Letter size and page setting is readable. The cover material and print is not particular artistic but alright. The translation is well made in opinion.
Content wise I found it to be a highly interesting and surprisingly enjoyable read. An inclined reader should be advised to gather and have a certain knowledge of the Bolshevik Revolution and the subsequent domestic war before reading this book. There are many persons crossing General Wrangels path that I had to research online. Many of them interesting persons by themselves.
General Wrangel your fight and sacrifice will not be forgotten!

Customer5640: This book is well worth a read for anyone who is interested in the Crimea or the takeover of red army in Russia. The Crimea has always been vitally important then and now, and the background from the final evacuation of the White Army is interesting history. Wrangel was highly respected and honorable, yet died at age 39. Hard to imagine his prestige at such a young age.

Right Stuff: The history of the White Russian Army and its battle against the Bolsheviks has been left in the dustbin of history! The conduct of the European government’s during this time is questionable.

Liv: It’s a great book on honor, how a man should act, and a story of great patriotism
The book does get boring and hard to read at times, but it is an eye opener on the Russian civil war from a “White” perspective
The few chapters are amazing

James R. Piotrowski: This book is about the author's experiences as a White Russian general fighting the Bolsheviks.
Tucker Carlson recommended this. I highly endorse this to anyone who wants to understand the Russian Revolution and the war between Whites and Reds and how this history has been lost and forgotten.
