Big Papa K: After trying several BP monitors, this is the one. This is a basic, no-frills model. No WiFi, no Bluetooth, no three-readings setting... But, it appears to be accurate. This specific unit is highly rated and recommended on the two monitor registries. Also, a series of consecutive readings were all quite close in results. Once I learned how this unit works, it's been great. Recommended.
Edit: I forgot to mention the cuff is universal. There is a sizing guide, which took a bit to figure out. But, it is helpful. It would be helpful if the sizing mark was printed on the outside of the cuff, too.

Linda Neddderman-Eaton: I did a lot of research before deciding upon this particular blood pressure monitor. I have a manual blood pressure cuff and stethoscope, and I know how to take blood pressure readings, but taking them on oneself, while possible, can be rather challenging to do trying to juggle the gauge, bulb and stethoscope. Thus I went searching for an electronic monitor that was validated for accuracy by either ValidateBP or StrideBP This A&D UA-651 was validated on both sites and from what I can tell is indeed very accurate as my BP readings match up with my sphygmomanometer manual blood pressure cuff. I tried my husbands Series 3 Omron BP monitor and decided against that particular brand for 2 reasons: 1) due to the exceptional tightness of the cuff when inflating, and 2) no ac adaptor was available for the Omron while there is one available for the A&D UA-651 on the A&D Medical website. If there is any down side to this A&D UA-651 monitor it is that it does not come with a case to keep it dust free when not in use. But I solved that problem by purchasing a comparably sized soft nylon toiletry bag. All in all I am very satisfied with this electronic...

shaeshae: I owned this monitor since 2019. I always thought my pressure was elevated but when I go to my doctors appointments, it was pretty normal. I even had my doctor prescribed me BP medication which did help....now fast forward to 2020 in my pregnancy, I use it to monitor my BP but for some reason it kept giving me high readings but when I went into to the emergency assessment center, my pressure was normal (130/80)...it gave me two different readings 5 minutes apart...it also always say cuff error before it give these inaccurate readings. Don’t buy, it’s junk.
