atomiccow: The quality of the chain cleaner's construction and materials beggars belief, but the it is undeniably effective. All of the locking tabs will probably snap off, and so will the handle, but you can still hold the two halves together with one hand. The handle is useless, and it's easier to simply hold the unit without it.
Don't bother with using a degreaser. Just fill the chain cleaner with a liberal amount of dish soap and a tiny bit of water. It'll clean and degrease your chain just as good or better than degreaser.

Ryan: This is a nice set of bike cleaning tools, especially for the price. The variety is great for effectively cleaning the drive train. The only thing that might be better in a more expensive "name brand" set is the chain cleaner. The chain cleaner's build quality appears to be low and it needs and it requires a little extra care to operate.

Amazon Customer: Comes packaged in a plastic bag, with most of the items further packaged in smaller plastic bags - maybe there is a better way, e.g. paper separators, etc. In any case, there were more tools than I know what to do with. I've only used the gear tool, a brush and the wash mitt and have gotten my bike cleaner than it's ever been before! Very functional!
