Two hours after opening and distributing this, our house reeked like a petting zoo. Think State Fair, bat house, rabbit hutch, guinea pig farm. Cats wouldn't go near it. Looked at me like I was punishing them. One of them attempted to hobble across this painful gravel and gave up. Three cats and two people DO NOT WANT.

LetThemEatCake: I paid $30 for this tiny bag of litter that will only last about a week. It has good odor control I think, but trying to scoop out the sawdust from the intact pellets is a real pain and creates a mess. Lots of the good pellets are getting thrown out that dont need to be. Would not order again, the price is way too high.

Victoria: I’m a new kitten parent. I’d never owned a cat in my life, I’ve always had dogs, but my boyfriend convinced me to adopt a little kitten and I had NO idea how to handle the litter situation. One of the main reasons why I didn’t want a cat I because of all the horror stories I’d heard about cats and their pickiness with litter... and the smell!
A friend recommended I try this out with the Breeze System, and I LOVE it! It smells fresh, the cleanup is super easy, and I don’t have to throw out a bunch of litter every month. My kitten didn’t love it in the beginning, but he slowly got used to it, and he now loves it. You don’t have to change the pee pads as often, but I definitely recommend changing them every other day, at least when they’re young. It also neutralizes the smell of poop (after a bit), so that’s been great! I know people also flush the poop down the toilet, because it’s safe. I don’t because I live in an old house with REALLY old plumbing.... but I can see that being a huge plus! The pellets become dust when in contact with water, so it wouldn’t clog your pipes.
I highly recommend!

Jackie: The size of bag I ordered is kind of pricey when compared to how much the same size is in a retail store. However, aside from that, if you're on the fence about whether to try the feline pine pellets I recommend them whole heartedly. Yes you have to scoop solids out ASAP because they don't cover the smell well but this stuff is practically a miracle if what you're concerned with is stopping the smell of your cat's urine without spending large amounts of money going through the more expensive scoopables quickly, hauling clay litter around, or even dumping clay into the landfills. Just stir Feline Pine around a bit when you clean out the solids in order to keep saturated spots from developing and sift the unused pellets out every week or two so you can dispose of the spent sawdust and you're good to go. When the pellets get wet from urine they dissolve into sawdust. The amonia from cat urine bonds with something in the pine and the wetness evaporates without a scent. Make sure to have a high sided box though because as the pellets dissolve the amount of litter actually grows a bit.

Marj: This litter is amazing. I only use about 1.5-2 inches of litter a week. When the pellets break down it increases in volume and then i throw it all away and start fresh. The odor control is like no other. I have 3 cats in my apartment and the only time there is an ammonia problem is when we haven't cleaned the boxes soon enough.
If you prefer the 3-4in litter method this works too - i just prefer more frequent whole box changes.
Woukd be a 5 star but it tracks like crazy when the pellets break down (another reason to change weekly)
