Carmen Stopher: They are good for the price, good material. But you need to remember they go up to the knees and beyond a bit.

Catherine: I did not like the appearance of these at all. I gave them away.

Check Mate: I've only tried them on with my new boots to wear with my Wedding dress next year due to the Covid19. I placed my orders well in advance to have the items that I wanted available. I am now finding out with some items that I ordered are well passed the window of returning or a replacement. These were comfortable enough, not as thick but I thought with the boots I ordered they would work. I'm not sure if they will run since they're more like knee highs in fabric like panty hose than trouser socks...another issue when ordering clothing, shoes, or boots online that it's not as easy as trying them on in the stores. But I'll make use of them. They did come in a package of three, enough for myself, Matron of Honor and my Mother who will also be wearing cowboy boots. I would recommend these but remember I ONLY tried them on with my boots and dress.

JenJen: These are NOT what I would call trouser socks. They are knee-highs. That said... they're good quality for knee-highs and a little more durable than your typical panty hose. They stay up really well. A little bit too long for me, but I'm "vertically challenged" and they'd fit great for an average height person. If you really want trouser socks (opaque and more like a thin sock) then pass on this item and spend a little more for something more durable. These do work well for what I need - I love the Tom's style shoes but hate going sock-less (ew), and shoes like that just don't look right with socks. These are a good compromise between a no-sock look and just a little bit of coverage.

Lookin'Up: I got these as boot socks for my boots that don't have room for thick socks and they are perfect! They are bigger than the trouser socks I've picked up at brick and mortar stores, even after washing and drying them! So there's room to pull some extra to fold over my toes so by the time my foot has settled down in the boot there's room for my toes to wiggle!
THEN, also, I've gained some weight so my calves are almost 16" yet these socks pull up with ease and settle right under my knee.
They don't have a lot of "stretch" in the body of the sock tho the band is plenty stretchy, enough that they SHOULD stay up for just about anyone!
They ARE kinda thin too and I think it might be kinda easy to snag them, but with care these babies should wear well and last a good while...especially with so many to rotate thru!
Oh, btw, one review I read said that these have reinforced toes. They don't. They're just the classic tube type sock, but the extra length makes up for that as far as my needs are concerned!
