Nikki: I discovered True Citrus while looking for an alternative to the artifically sweetened drinks I'd been lying to myself about being a better choice than products that contain sugar. I am SOO glad I found True Citrus drink mixes. I don't have to worry about putting harmful artifical chemicals in my body, and best of all, they are ALL delicious!
If wondering what the difference is between the smaller, individual flavor packets and the taller single serve drink mix packets, the single flavor packets that are similar in size to sugar packets you see at restaurants are designed to taste exactly like a the juice of a single slice/wedge of lemon/lime/grapefruit. I love taking them when I travel so I can add them to my adult beverage on the plane. They taste just like a fresh squeezed lime wedge! — The other option is the individual on-the-go drink mix flavor combos that are designed for the convenience of simply adding a packet to a bottle of water, shake, and voilà. VA Shopper: I hesitated to buy the 500-count bulk box of True Lime, but did it assuming I could return to a local Amazon Fresh if it were a true bust. Happily, it came in perfect condition. Glad I purchased this, given how much we use this product at home and how much the cost of all groceries has increased with inflation. I could not bring myself to buy more little boxes at the current price, so yippee for some bulk price savings.
It shipped in a sturdy, semi-gloss, brand printed cardboard box about 4.75"x9"x7" with no outer wrapping and filled with loose packets inside. No extra bagging or lining, so no plastic to recycle. I shook nearly every little packet as soon as I opened it. All seem nice and loose with no chunky and no split packets. I counted out the first 100 because I'm that kind of nutjob, and wanted to refill the empty 100-packet box that fits my pantry nicely. Perfect. It looked like about 20% of the total, so I think the quantity is probably correct. The remaining 400 (I assume) fit nicely in a plastic, snap-lid standard sized shoe box. I think all 500 could have fit there. I'd recommend storage in that sort of thing, or a nice glass jar, unless you manage to go through...

ESD: Great for sprinkling on foods or in soups. I've added it to pasta water to add an extra bit of zing. A little goes a long way. I've used it in marinades and adds just a hint of lemon/lime goodness.
